Use to live in the area we try an stop every time we are up this way since we never seem to make it to Chicago this last time I... was disappointed my hotdogs bun was so hard an falling apart it was not what I was use to getting when I stop in there that'sfor sure. Ordered the Chicago deep dish. We get it maybe once a month. We come from Rock Falls to get it because it's pretty darn close to... Gino's East. Unfortunately this time wasn't as good as everytime before. It was still okay but the crust wasn't all the way doneand wasn't even thickness on all side. One was very thin and with barely and ingredients. The other side was like usual as faras ingredients but the crust still was not done. I will still keep going there because their food is almost always great. Thisis the only incident we've had. And we've had a lot of other stuff on their menu too! Read more
Pulled pork was tasty, fries were crunchy, and the coleslaw was lighter than most I?ve had before. Service was quick too.... Overall delicious and will come back when in the area! Read more
You never think those little hut would have the best food in Dixon! They have gyros they have beef sandwiches everything that... I've had off their menu is tasty lots of flavor! They've changed their gyro sauce over the years and now it's much better. Read more
Ok so I?m in town for work and somebody recommended this place randomly. Listen... I stopped in for a dog for lunch and decided... to have dinner there too, and I blew it out. This stuff is delicious. Great fries and their Italian beef deep dish is wow. Read more
I come from sterling and order here occasionally usually I get the beef roll which is usually pretty good and my husband likes... the gyro with extra meat...today however I ordered an Italian beef w/cheese and he ordered his usual...mine was ok, couldn'ttell there was cheese too bad. However the gyro had no cucumber sauce making it quite dry and barely enough vegetables to covera 1/4 of it and very well done fries. Sorry to say but today wasn't a win for us.
