This is a really nice and trendy place, but the dishes are really not great at all. I've tried 5 different dishes at this point... and the flavor and quality is not there. I've gone to the Thai place in Rock Falls a number of times and its significantlybetter tasting food. Read more
MY FAVORITE PLACE TO EAT! So happy they have vegan and gf options. They don?t compare to anyone! I really think their food is... made with love. It?s always so so so perfect. One of my family members ordered the beef and broccoli and it was cross contaminated with shrimp. We found pieces of shrimp tail... within the dish. They are highly allergic to shrimp. The picture is just one of the pieces we found in the food itself. Read more
Somkit is the best sushi place in the Dixon area hands down. Great vibes inside. I always love the music playing. They brought... back a few spicy sushis that they temporarily took off the menu during covid. Drinks are amazing. Especially the Spanish Flutequila cocktail. Would definitely recommend! Read more
Somkit used to be one of out favorite places to eat but sadly they have a sign on the door stating due to covid they are lacking... in kitchen help so you should be patient and boy did it prove to be the fact. We were initially the only guests and servicestill took a very long time. The hostess was outstanding she is very quick and friendly but after that everything took a verylong time. The food is definitely not as good as it used to be the Lumpia was over cooked and the filling was lacking in flavor,most of our meal was lacking in flavor and presentation. We will definitely go back again to give them another chance but wewill definitely wait for a while in hopes they get themselves together and it goes back to their past excellence. Read more

Excellent food, slow service. The food was great, I had the pad sew eiw and would order it again. The service was slow despite... us being the only customers in the place at the time. I also had the Blue Line drink. I thought it would be a sweet beverage butit wasn?t, no stars deducted since some people prefer non-sweet drinks. Read more
