Great upscale dinning for our area. Italian dishes, great appetizers and a fantastic wine selection to please everyone's needs.... Once dinner is done stay and enjoy a cup of coffee with dessert. Obviously this place is super popular with sold out tables for hours. We were invited to dine at the bar and that was a great... decision. Megan took care of us and made us feel at home, she is awesome. The food and drinks are delicious and the staff wasvery friendly. Megan even let us know there might be a tapas style dinning experience coming to the super amazing outdoorsection. Very disappointed. Please don't call this a "Rib Eye Steak", at best this was an over cooked, tough piece of Rib Roast that was... $28 without a side. Also try at least a little salt and pepper. Normally I would have sent it back, but we were there for aspecial occasion and didn't want to make a scene. I know I went to an Italian Restaurant, but a steak that is priced that highshould at least be "good". Now let's move on to service. We were seated for about 10 minutes before our drink order was taken.As for the overall sevice throughout dinner, I would say it was bad. When you are paying for a meal that is this expensive, youshouldn't have to ask for another glass of water. At first I thought it was because they were really busy, but there were only 6tables and 2 servers. It also appeared as though they had an employee who was just there to get drinks/bus tables. A truly fantastic experience. Ended our day in Dixon with a scrumptious meal. We had the baked manicotti. Perfect sauce and... creamy filling. The bread was very warm and tasty. The desserts were heaven. The service was impeccable. I made a mess anddropped my remaining entree before I could secure it in the to go box. The server replaced with a new entree. The atmosphere wasvery cozy and quiet even though there were several people there. Please do yourself a favor and check out this little gem. Read more
