On Saturday, Oct 29 my family ordered 200 pieces of Thighs and legs for a Church event. They gave us a lot of chicken backs in... place of Thighs. What a rip off. I tend to strongly encourage support of establishments in my neighborhood, but unfortunately I will not be returning here. I... ordered a three-choice combo with catfish nuggets, wings, and shrimp. The food was beneath sub-par, actually it was worse thanthat. After waiting a while for my food, the catfish was still undercooked, not well seasoned, and way too fishy and oily. Iended up spitting some of it out, which no one should have to do. The wings were just ok. I had to pick thru those as well. Thebread was not fresh. I ate the shrimp....it's really hard to mess those up. I heard rave reviews about Sharks in other citieslike Chicago, but this isn't it. It was a complete waste of my money........and calories for that matter. If you are lookingfor something similar, I would recommend Hip Hop Chicken and Fish. They have their issues, but the food would be much betterand not as much of a regret. I try to give fair and balanced reviews, but this one star was well earned. One last comment:there are food service establishments that take great pride in their product and what they serve to their customers (no matterwho they may be)......and others do not. I feel like the staff who were working and serving today did not have that sense ofpride, and as such did not put that effort into their food product in my experience. Read more

My first visit impression. The staff was friendly and customer-oriented. I watched the cook prepare food and was very pleased... with his safe food handling practices...especially the changing of the gloves to avoid no cross contamination. The food was 3wings, 3 shrimp and 2 fish with fries. I was extremely happy that this food was NOT pre-cooked as in other places likecarryouts. I believe customers should be asked during the order if they want the seasoning that was sprinkled on my cookedfood. This was my first visit so did not know. I did not like the seasoned blend on the fries or chicken but it tasted ok withthe fish and shrimp. Based on what I experienced that day I am sure the staff would have replaced the food if Iwanted. Mask sign on door, owner didn?t have face covered and was coughing. (I should have turned away then) ordered 4 wings and 4... pieces of whiting. The whiting is not whiting and has skin on the back, the wings are small. After receiving my food one guyasked me what type of sauce I wanted and when I told him he threw his hands up saying no no no no that?s a special sauce itcosts $1. Wow $1 would not have been an issue however that is NOT how you conduct business. You do not yell at your customers asif they can not pay or aren?t willing to pay for a $1 item. The bread that came with the fish was hard. That was my first andlast time ever in this establishment. I do not recommend eating here as the food is over priced and not worth the money. Pleaseget real whiting fillets for your orders and regular size chicken wings, along with fresh bread. If you want Sharks the drive toMinnesota Ave is well worth it! I have to say, this restaurant is One of the Best Place to order a Loaded, Juicy, Tasty and Flavorful Chicken, Steak and Cheese... Sub in the DMV Area!!! I originally came here to try out some seafood and I was interested in trying Shark, but it was sold out.I also ordered fish, chicken and shrimp with French Fries. The fish was tasty, but the size of the chicken was small the flavorwas basic, the French Fries was basic nothing special and the shrimp was tiny, over cooked and it wasn?t the greatest. They alsooffer dessert. The cake was tasty and delicious!!! Great atmosphere, the staff was friendly and helpful!!! The restaurant wasvery clean and there?s plenty of parking spaces available. Came with my family to have Labor Day lunch. Foods are amazing. Fall in love with their Fried Shrimp. Nothing can be there... homemade lemonade. My daughter enjoyed her Philly cheesesteak. The gyro was pretty good too. Will be back soon. Read more
