Great food in a beautiful place that reminds me of 30A (Destin and Panama City Beach, FL) Unlike any place in the mountains of... North Georgia or Western North Carolina. Please try the shrimp appetizer. Amazing!!! Staff have been consistently great tous. We have also met new friends just about every time Read more

An idyllic dinner that refreshed the soul. We dropped in with our 3 rambunctious boys and golden retriever and the staff was... immediately welcoming and invited us to sit on the verandah, brought a bowl of water to our pup and gave our boys the run of thefield just beyond. The waitress was like an old friend and had no problem asking the bar to make a custom cocktail with allfresh ingredients for myself (ask for the cucumber martini) and brought lots of water refills for my sweaty tribe. Afterdevouring our starters of the bread platter and Brussels/carrots our meal did not disappoint! They even went back into thekitchen to make homemade honey mustard for our youngest?s chicken tenders! Once we were throughly satiated and relaxed fromcocktails with an impressive view, we took to the farm for yard games, animal visits and flower fields. If you are looking forincredible food, beautiful views, southern hospitality all amongst a refined and yet relaxing atmosphere? you have found yourplace at Julep Farms! (Oh and don?t miss the perfectly curated gift shop! The robes are to die for, the artwork superb and thegifts- unique and special!) Read more

10 of us went to the Social House for lunch at Julep Kitchen, to check it out, and we were all glad that we did! We had a... variety of the menu options: Parmesan and Truffle Fries, Mixed olives in Herb butter, NC Smoked Trout Dip, Chicken SaladCroissant, Butternut Squash Ravioli, Gigi?s Brie and Bacon Sandwich, Mojo Pork Sandwich, Shrimp and Grits, and a burger. We alsohad some Bread Pudding for dessert. Very good stuff! The silver cup in one of the pictures is a Rosemary Lemonade Julep, thechocolate swirled whipped cream in a glass is the Chocolatini. Yummy! The food was all very good and appropriately priced forthe quality of food, atmosphere, and presentations. The staff was very friendly and caring. The attached shop is addicting withall of the cool stuff that you will want to take home! They deliver the check in books that diners have made comments in, whichis very cool! We loved the grounds and buildings. Very well kept, warm and welcoming. I don?t live nearby, but next time I amin the neighborhood I will definitely stop by for another fantastic time and meal! Julep Kitchen is an absolute treasure for the Dillard / Clayton area. The prix fixe menu option elevates the experience. I... enjoyed an amazing wedge salad with house-made bleu cheese dressing, the bone in pork chop, and the bread pudding paired with acappuccino. My wife had the shrimp & grits. Everything was delightful. I can?t wait to return. Reservation highly recommended. Read more

Wonderful anniversary weekend! We dined at Julep Kitchen several times over a weekend in October. Everything was just perfect. ... The drinks, shrimp and grits, the crawfish fritters and the desserts were all really good. The carrots and Brussels stole theshow! We also stayed in one of their cottages which was very nice and super convenient to most of the area attractionsincluding a quick 25 minute drive to Highlands. Rick,Lauren and the whole staff were all very nice and accommodating. Thanksagain. Read more
