Loving Renaissance Cafe! Cute set up and food is consistently great.

The "cannoli's" are actually cream horns. Still tasty, just not what I was looking for. Puff pastry filled to the brim with... pastry cream just isn't a cannoli. Was still tasty though. Was disappointed in my coffee as it tasted mostly of water but I amwilling to give the benefit of the doubt there as there was only one person working and they were serving the pastry, makingsandwiches, and the coffee all by themselves. Great cannoli, Friday is our treat day and the Renaissance is our first choice; would like to see blueberry or coffee flavours.... Some do not have a distinct enough taste. Also like the smaller size as 5$ each is sort of pricy for one. Read more

My senior friend and I went to the Renaissance Bakery and Cafe in Didsbury for lunch which was excellent! We made our order and... also ordered three of their delicious cannoli (salted caramel, pistachio, and a coffee one) to take home. When I zipped out tothe vehicle get my friend?s diabetic needle, a gentleman kindly paid for our order! We have no idea who the gentleman is, but hesurely blessed us today! They have attractive looking Large Canneloni Pastries, several Flavors. But they didnt have Much Flavor / Taste. We enjoyed the... Flake Pastry Better, that we had at Lunch at the Thai Restaurant, in the Hotel, uptown. Read more
