This is a great little BBQ joint with a good bar in Dickinson! Grab a bucket of peanuts to munch on while you're waiting on... your food. Just throw the shells in the floor ? my kinda place! BBQ had great flavor, very little fat, and as tender as youcan get. Beans had a rich smoky flavor with lots of meat in it. Coleslaw was very unique and very good. Served with tastycornbread. Service was good. We were very surprised after reading good reviews. The ambience was primative and speculated on how well it... was kept up. 3 of us had pasta served in a small bowl. Hardly any chicken in the pasta dish. Two of the bread sticks wereburnt. We had two kids meals and adult had a hamburger; 2 beers. Our bill came to over $110. We were very disappointed. Read more

Service was the best part of the meal. Clarissa took really good care of us. The brisket was over done and very dry. The ribs... had good flavor however they were cold. The mac and cheese was good, however once again only warm not hot. May try this placeagain however would not have the BBQ. Read more
The gentleman from the hotel recommended us to have dinner here when we asked for suggestion. So we went there. I ordered two... meats meal with brisket and ribs. They might look dry in the picture but they actually were so tender and moist. I love thebrisket but I love the ribs more. The meat of ribs was so tasty even without bbq sauce. I also like the mashed sweet potatoside. The service was good as well. I will go there again if I have chance to travel there. Read more

It's decent. I'm a brisket connoisseur, it's no Texas brisket for sure but a nice try. Pulled pork was a little moist as well.... Overall, not too bad, A for effort. I would go back, the staff was great and everything else tasted great. Read more
