I've been to Newk's before (in New Braunfels, TX), so I had the same high expectations here, but this was a let down. I waited... for at least five minutes while first in line just to take my order because there were two associates huddled over the register,seemingly placing one's order, but completely ignoring the line of customers forming to place orders. After that, though servicewas quick, the turkey avocado half sandwich was more bread than substance and the avocado was overripe and brown mush. Infairness the half Caesar salad was quite good. Finally, I order a drink (they, of course, defaulted to a large without asking)only to find out there were no caffeine-fee AND sugar-free options available. At 8 PM, it should not be unusual for people toprefer these options, so if you find yourself here, just order the bottled water at the counter or ask for water glass (if theydo that) because you aren't going to get any better. Poor management skills creates terrible employee's. When a guest leaves something of value to them. The establishment does not... teach it's employee's to make decisions on their own, to throw customer's property away like garbage, regardless of theitem(prescription reading glasses). That is poor management! I called 10 minutes after leaving the establishment and was told bymanger "sorry you left your reading glasses." I will never eat again at the Newk's in D'Iberville, MS very rude anddisrespectful female manager. Read more
It was not as good as I expected. I've heard a lot about it and It's not something I will intentionally go back to. But my... daughter got the chicken bacon sandwich and and the potato soup. The potato soup was good , BUT I did not try her sandwich. Ihad the Barbecue chicken pizza and the Greek salad and it was not a good flavor for me. Read more
Came for a Sunday lunch and they did not disappoint! I split the pesto sandwich and the cheesesteak sandwich with my brother and... both where phenomenal! I also love that they have a specific tea for spends sweetened tea! The pasta salad was delicious too!! Read more
First time and enjoyed our food, we got it for takeout and it was more than we expected. We'll try to dine in next time. The... potato soup was very watery, but the Mac n cheese was very good, the pasto sandwich was delicious and the steak sandwich wasgood too, the fruit salad was fresh and the pasta salad had a lot of flavor. Perhaps the soup was watery because it wasn'tstirred, maybe. We'll try it again next time. Overall, it was great though. Read more
We stopped at Newks on our road trip. It was the most welcoming place. Menu has good options. Its good to have 1/2 + 1/2 or... whole + 1/2 choices instead of just 1. The food was just the right quantity. Good taste. Read more
The issue is the food I received. I ordered the kids pizza for my son. Half the pizza has no cheese on it and it's burnt. The... kid sprite we was to receive with it we didn't. We received an empty kids cup thrown in the bag. No drink had been made. I havepictures if need. What terrible quality. My son basically has nothing to eat or drink, therefore I have to turn around and orderhim something else from some where else. I order Newks either on the site or DoorDash all the time. Read more
