We went to Allez! on a Wednesday at 5pm and were able to find a table for four. All of the servers were very helpful and nice,... the food was excellent (we have tried quite a few higher end restaurants in the area and Allez is really something special). Wehad the tri-tip with carmelized onions, cabernet sauce, and roasted red potatoes, as well as the pork chop with nectarine, andmashed potatoes. Our table shared four different desserts and each one was excellent. We will definitely be going back again! Read more

Loved everything about this down home French cafe. We ordered the prix fixe menu and had soup and the pork tenderloin, which was... cooked perfectly. Husband ordered the chèvre salad and it was also really good. Their house made pate was delicious. The staffwere all very sweet and it has a family-run vibe. We?ll definitely make a point of coming here the next time we?re in town. Read more

Late on posting this. We go to Allez regularly. The food is absolutely amazing each and every time. I added photos from the... Valentines dinner we had there. Just a wonderfully put together menu. If you have not dined here take the time to try it youwon?t be disappointed. The staff is wonderful and very professional. Great selection of wines and classic French/Europeandishes. The place is small but once you get at a table the food and the service makes it all worth the wait. No reservations sotry getting there for a little early dinner (4:30) :-) Read more

Glad to have a pretty good restaurant in town! We only had their soup, ?lunch box? on the menu, and the mini saint honoree cake... but can?t wait to go back again for the full dinner. It was great to learn something background story of this place. The chef/owner is originally from France in the 80s. Settled in the el dorado area in 1988 and the rest is history. Read more

Wow, we had to come back a second day in a row, because the food was so incredible! I spent my birthday here and can't recommend... Allez enough if you're in the Placerville area. It's unique that it presents as a cafe, but also a smaller restaurant. Kind offeels like you're eating at someone's kitchen, the atmosphere is very warm and cozy with a lot of neat places to sit (bar, tables, by the window). The food is traditional French with a full menu to choose from, but Allez also offers a fixed menu thatchanges as well. I highly recommend the fixed menu for those who are hungry and not sure what to eat! You can also get amazingcoffee and pastries here, wine, and the staff is super friendly :) would come back in a heartbeat! Read more
