Hey guys it's me the German style pizza guy. You didn't have banana peppers so I got the Woodsy, which on the east coast is a... Hawaiian. I grew up eating pizzas in NJ where it was invented, and NYC, where it was perfected. I travel all over the countryand most pizzas I've had were on a scale from not great to totally terrible. Your pizza however was FANTASTIC! The smokeyCanadian bacon with the sweet pineapple was to die for. Crust was tasty and crisp, and the sauce and toppings (of which therewas a bounty) went all the way to the edge of the pie. Kudos, South Shore. Best pizza I've had all year! Read more
Busy place! Located right on Diamond Lake. Yummy pizza! Cute names for the pizzas. Mosquito Bite, Hot Springs and Woodsy Owl.... Be patient. They have a lot of Fireman in the area that frequent there. Enjoy your pizza at the lake watching the Sunset! Read more
We were staying at Diamond Lake and a friend let us have some of his pizza. It was fire. We went the next day and got us two... pizzas. A bit pricey but understandable due to location. The Mosquito Repellent pizza was amazing. We'll be back! Read more
If you're in the Diamond Lake area on the weekend and find yourself craving pizza stop by and try it out. Price is a little more... than you would spend in town, but hey what do you expect in the remote wilderness. We've had the Diamond Lake Special a fewtimes and love it. Although now they have a new one, a Philly Cheese steak pizza. It's worth trying. Read more
Great food and we had a fun little ride to get there! Staff was also super nice.
Surprisingly good for a place situated out in the middle of nowhere. I couldn't get pictures of the pizzas fast enough before... they were quickly devoured by our group of 35 people. They didn't have the ice machine running but that doesn't seem to be aproblem when there is fresh snow right out the back door. The portions were large for their salads and potatoe "chips" (beerbattered and fried fresh). In the winter, you'll only get there by trekking or snowmobile. Summer time is accessible by car.
