MC&D is a welcoming and warm place with amazing coffee (local coffee!!) and great handmade gifts to support local talent. The... team are not there to sell you anything but offer you a friendly suggestion and it?s so refreshing to meet a business who cares.Willing to accommodate my dietary needs and gave me something which wasn?t even on the menu! Fantastic coffee, quick and easy parking lot. Drive thru is a bonus. Latte and iced coffee is amazing. Baked goods are always... fresh. Perfect location to and from Prescott down to the valley. Highly recommend. They also host super cute events like openmic night and more. Read more

My experience was a mixed bag, let?s start with the good! Modern Coffee has a great atmosphere, very cute and cozy. The staff... was very friendly and welcoming. The coffee was delightful and my breakfast burrito had the best eggs I?ve ever had, handsdown. There were a couple issues with the food that detracted from the experience though. My wife couldn?t finish her bagelbecause it was too tough, like chewing leather. Also the potatoes in my breakfast burrito were pretty severely undercooked. Itwas so disappointing to simultaneously have the best eggs I?ve ever had in a burrito right next to the worst potatoes I?ve everhad in a burrito. They may just be ironing out some kinks, so I?ll check back in a couple weeks and see if anything haschanged. The coffee and service were good enough to make up for the food issues, so still worth a visit. Read more
It was fun to see that he roasts his own beans. A wide variety of flavors. Something that is not always talked about at a coffee... shop is the restroom. But as a mom of two little ones, it was nice to know they have a clean restroom and it is family style. Read more
