Stopped here en route to Fargo, looking for a locally owned restaurant vs a chain. Service was prompt and friendly, but the... food had issues. Ordered hot beef sandwich, walleye, and Denver omelette sandwich. Hot beef was tough, cole slaw was tastelessto the point of being inedible, walleye was dry and featured bones on one end, fries were forgettable. Omelette sandwichhowever was good. Nice waitress...food looked good. I never learn. 3rd chance to prove something wouldn't be wrong with the food. Second time our... family got hair in the food. Cooked right in the eggs. Unfortunate. Cooks..must wear gloves and hair nets..please nobeards...this looked like a beard hair..and yup..cook had a beard and was scratching his face..no gloves..when we were payingour ticket. Read more
They had a sign that said be patient short staffed.... Went in and the staff that was working was amazing! Compliments to the... chef!!!Food came fast and delicious, service was excellent!!!Would definitely recommend and will be going back next time intown! Read more
By far, best breakfast restaurant in Devils Lake. Makes you feel like you're in Grandma's kitchen when you're there. The cook is... obviously a seasoned veteran. The only reason it doesn't have five stars is some of the servers could smile a little more. ????I know it's busy but you still got to show that up North charm! Luckily, my waitress was wonderful! Excellent service and the food was fantastic! Ordered the All meat Omlet and did not disappoint.
I will always try a place a few times before I say no more. Unfortunately this is one of those places that either I had multiple... times of bad luck, or they really are not that good. If you are looking for decent service then they have that, but as for theirfood, everytime my husband and I tried eating here the food was never good. The hashbrowns and toast several times had beensoggy, and the eggs are flavorless. We went back for lunch on a couple of different days ordered burgers and again, there wasn'tmuch flavor. Read more
