Took a chance on this place and was not disappointed. Went at 7 pm and the food was still great. Ribs fell off the bone, brisket... had lots of flavor. The Cole slaw caught me by surprise. Had a nice zingyness to it which helped even out the sweetness of thebbq sauce. I got full real quick and luckily I have enough left overs for lunch tomorrow. I had the sweetwater plate. Beef was dry, chicken was dry. Ribs were very good. Fries were good once you brushed off some of the... salt. The plate was bit too small for the portion and difficult to eat without spilling things on the table. They have twosauces, sweet and spicy, both way too sweet for me because they overpowered the taste of the meat. Sweet tea dispenser was outof tea. Service was very friendly and prompt. Read more
Phenomenal. Best BBQ I've ever paid for. The sauce...oh, the sauce. The chicken was cooked perfectly and had a great flavor. The... fried spuds are fantastic. The catfish is the best I've had since I was a kid, cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. Theinterior and atmosphere of the restaurant are lovely, it's nice and open and bright. This would be a great place for a smallishwedding or party or something! Definitely has venue possibilities, and you couldn't find better food in the area. Wow, the BBQ here is excellent! Loved my double decker sandwich. The meat was tender and full of flavor. The fries were crispy... and delicious. The pickles complemented the meal extremely well. Very happy we decided to stop by and try this place out! Priceswere not too unreasonable and the staff were kind. Very clean and organized inside too. No complaints! Read more
Almost gave 4 stars because we had to wait over 20 minutes for our food but that was the only issue we had so I rounded up to 5.... The folks working here are extremely friendly and make you feel welcome. Quick to offer a suggestion for your meal if you can?tdecide. I got the sweetwater combo - 3 meats and two sides. We were making our way home so I knew I?d have leftovers for thenext day. My wife got the two meat combo. All of the meats were crazy tender and, where applicable, very flavorful. The spicysausage is no joke. Ribs are super yummy. Their house sauce is very tasty. Cornbread, green beans and slaw were alltasty. Hopefully they have more outdoor tables available as the summer gets closer as having bbq outside just makes sense. Atany rate, I will gladly return. :-) Read more
The only reason I gave them a 4 was the green bean and hillbilly bean seam to be just beans from a can no extra effort! The ribs... were fall off the bone and good flavor and the sausage was very good! Friendly people and great atmosphere! And best of all mysemi could turn around in their dirt lot. Read more
Fun BBQ place with great food. I got their special which is three meats and all were delicious! Staff was very friendly and we... had our food pretty quick. They have a pickle, jalapeño, and onion bar too for those that like to add some other flavors totheir meal. Read more
