The spare ribs where way over cooked and tasted old. I didn't finish them. They had way way way to much sauce on them.

After 9 months of being closed due to the devastating OR wildfires, Connor's BBQ at Detroit Lake is finally open and just in... time for summer fun at the lake! The dessert's are delicious! Fresh peach cobbler, blackberry cobbler and strawberry shortcake.The pulled pork sandwiches and bbq chicken are delicious! They also have live music on the weekends with a short walk to thelake. Haven't been in for awhile and was pleasantly surprised to find they have expanded their menu. They now have a burger and fries... on the menu. We were with my daughter and son-in-law who had not been there before. They both had the pulled pork and mygrandson had the burger. They were all extremely satisfied and fully sated when done. Two hungry fisherman wandered into the rebuilding town of Detroit when we saw the charcoaling oasis, Connor?s barbecue, sadly we... were too late. Although the owner saw us as he sat on his golf cart and said sorry boys this is the last barbecue of the day andhe held up his plate with two barbecue wings. He gave me one and I shared it with my buddy. I have never eaten a better tastingchicken wing than that. Read more
