This place is always heavenly wait times at drive through today i waited for almost half hour to get my food at this location on... October 09 at 9:20 pm to be exact 2 of the workers got out from the back smelling like hemp all over and started working likenothing is going on. This White Castle lifted me up in my darkest hour. All credit and praise to the workers ? seen, appreciated and respected.
I stood in line at the driver thru, looking anxiously towards the street. Had a troublesome day, and I had muttered fervent vows... of betterment to myself the whole way. "Take the risk or lose the chance!" I growled at the sidewalk. Normally at this time I'dbeen just leaving the house, but I wanted some White Castle, so I got out early. I had walked past a guy sitting on the ground,and he was eating peanut butter. He laughed and said , "Good fiber!" And I chuckled. We actually talked about the weather andthe QLine as the window slid open briefly and I showed them my Uber Eats order. I guess it was odd cause I wasn't driving, but Icouldn't access inside, and I didn't want to pay 6.00 more for a place I could walk to. Bout two miles. But I digress. AnywaysI get my order ,and as I get the food, I kinda let go of some of the clouds above my head that day you know. Yet I asked for aspoon, and I was disheartened they didn't have any. Only reason why four stars. The actually reason is because this man washappy as hell, and had been eating the peanut with one long index swollen finger. The rest were a scarred mass of stubs . Always good. I live in Maryland. The closest white castle near me is new York. I have to take advantage of visiting Detroit... where I can fresh made Burgers. Not the frozen ones, although they(frozen) will do when you really want white castle. Read more
Was just coming from motor city and stopped for a quick bite so we stopped here and the shift was about to change but the... manager of the night shift was still there she made us laugh was very polite and kept it real but before she left she made sureour order was right definitely appreciate her need more people like her. I didn't get her name but if she sees this than I hopeshe know I so love her and thank you so much for the experience that early in the morning. Also the team that came in as she wasleaving I want to thank y'all as well cuz our food was hot and fresh and good lol. Read more
This is by far one of the worst White Castle locations in the city! Very unorganized, and I had to wait almost 15 minutes just... for a order of chicken rings. The line didn?t have any cars so I?m confused to why no one had a record of my order. Mind you I?mthe only one in line! Do better White Castles! Or close this location because it?s a bad look for midtown and the Woodward area! Read more
