Been eating here for 15 years. It's a real delicacy! I'm not sure if it's still halal but 15 years ago the turkey's would be in... the back of the establishment. 15 years nothing has changed, same amazing taste. Growing up in my neighborhood this place wasthe holy grail, the bee's knees, just truly a delicacy that should be indulged in as such. Breath taking, amazing, timeless. This isn't some "hood spot" get it right! Neighboring midtown and bordering the beautiful North End neighborhood, this place isit! The slander on this page is honestly disgusting, it may not be prevalent but to hear any slander is preposterous. Absolutelyridiculous. Love this place. This is the most overrated restaurant in the history of Detroit l!!! Ive heard about the turkey grill since forever, but never... tried them. Ive heard people raving about them in the past, so I decided to give them a try since I was in the area. I orderedthe turkey meatloaf with mash potatoes/gravy and green beans. The menu price was $17.99, but when I got to the register theprice was $19.00 plus tax . The service was not that good. They weren't necessarily rude, but they didn't say thank you, didn'tgreet me or anything. That goes a long way with a customer. As for the food itself, is was nasty. They only give you 1 smallpiece of meatloaf. The mashed potatoes were bland and had absolutely no taste. The green beans were so mushy, a newborn babycould eat them. I was sorely disappointed because expected much better. I have no idea how they stayed in business so long. Iwouldn't recommend them to feed my dog. Never spending my money there again Read more
