Reviews for Subway in Detroit, MI
My son has leukemia so I have been to this subway multiple times, luckily he is better, so I won't be here often enough to need... to eat at this subway again. I have been in the food business for a long time and currently am a General Manager and run arestaurant in Macomb County. All this is said because whoever owns this subway, needs to sell it to someone who cares. Theseemployees barely look at you, or talk to you. Today was a guy and 2 girls and someone cutting tomatoes in the back. The guystarted us off but mumbled everything he said. No greeting and no smile. Of all places in a hospital for sick children, wherethey not only serve those parents but the doctors and staff that work there. Second girl had wild hair with no hair net. When mymother asked her for veggies on her slider she gave her a look and said no and carried on. The only decent one was doing cashbut no farewell or thank you. If you hate your job get a new one. I know this is Detroit but what about pride? If they thinkthey have it bad maybe they should talk to some customers and see what they are dealing with. Oh so I ordered Ultimate steaksub. It was an ultimate Mistake. I ended up eating raw bread dough. i got through half of it and threw the rest out. Don't eathere, people like this don't deserve your business. Read more
Not even a public subway. Definitely not 24 hours. I was rudely questioned by hospital front desk staff about where I came from... and where I was going. When I said subway, they looked at me like I was crazy and said if I don't have a patient in the hospitalthat I'm not allowed to go to the subway. I strongly recommend never trying to go here without a sick child in tow and eventhen, I recommend finding another hospital Read more

Congratulations! This is the worst service at any Subway I have ever been to. Employee just gave me a dirty look when I finally... found her after waiting and searching for her. (After about 5 minutes I saw her in the back, made eye contact and and I saidhello....no response.) When she got the the counter she said nothing. I said "how's it going?" no response...just a 'look'. Theonly reason anyone should even consider going to this location is because there is no other option late at night. Just go tothe coffee shop next to it and get something there. Read more
Honestly the WORST restaurant of its kind. I have been there 3 times now and I can say I will never find myself there... again. Every single time I have been there, someone is standing around in the back talking or whatever while 2 or even 1 otherperson is in the front making the sandwiches. The cashiers often don't wash their hands after handling money when they move overto do veggies. Never have I encountered such a miserable group. They all move with the intensity of a slug while looking likethey absolutely hate every moment of their lives there. They keep the music so loud that they can't hear what the customer isordering and then they get upset when you have to say it 3 times or more. The fact that I have encountered a manager standing inthe doorway watching as one girl literally makes ALL sandwiches during a rush while a third girl stands there staring blankly isamazing to me. The poor patients who come here for care and are hungry quickly learn that Subway is not the place to go. Prepareto stand in line for excessive amounts of time wondering why you bothered to come there in the first place. Read more
Always welcoming but a little slower than you would like. Products fresh, but often out of certain items
It's inside the receiving hospital
