Wow this place is absolutely terrible the staff is very friendly but the prices they charge for canned goods is outrageous. Me... and my family of 5 went and spend $100 bucks on 10/26/22. We ordered 13 large sides, 1 small side and a 6 piece whole wingdinner. The green beans were straight out of a green giant can and weren?t even seasoned. The mashed potatoes taste like thecame from KFC kitchen, the black eye pees looked like they just poured them right out of the bag into a carry out container theywere sooooo dry omg. They failed to peel the sweet potatoes so they were hard the dressing was ok with gravy. The gravy was goodthe potato salad was ok but the corn bread and the spaghetti should come off the menu completely! I have been a customer for a while now and the last two times I?ve ordered have been such a disappointment. Last time I ordered... baked chicken for my partner and his wings were not fully cooked through Today I gave them another chance and ordered 2 mealsalong with dessert. I took a bite of it my chicken and immediately noticed the texture and seen that it was not cooked properly.The chicken should not taste rubbery and hard to pull apart. I ordered baked chicken, Mac n cheese, dressing, and cabbage. The baked chicken was ok. The Mac n cheese was disgusting. The... noddles were so soft and the cheese wasn?t even melted with the noddles. The dressing was beyond horrible. It had a strongginger taste and unpleasant. The cabbage was ok but they could have cut it up better. I would not recommend this place becausethe food was also blend as hell. This little place packs a good punch to your tummy.... This is my Second visit here and the food was amazing. Real soul Food.
We did a brisket meal and a smokehouse platter. Piece of red velvet. Piece of 7up pound cake. Side of fried Okra. Food was... delicious. BBQ sauce was all over the Mac and yams which made those taste odd, but sh*t happens. The Okra wasn't salted, and atad over cooked... but still good. The red velvet cake was very dry, but looked gorgeous. The pound cake was pretty good. Notperfect by any means, but definitely worth revisiting. And I will. Read more

The food was ok. Catfish was good, but for the price of a dinner, three pieces would be nice. I gave two stars because the... brisket was basically a slab of fat cooked in the oven, no plastic ware was provided, and the mac and cheese was average. Firstimpressions are everlasting impressions. Everything was flavorful and left me wanting more. The yams were so good, tender and sweet. The macaroni & cheese was perfect... and really exceeded my expectations.
