I read an article in the Free Press about this wonderful southern woman and her outdoor restaurant. I decided to give it a try.... I had the catfish and yellow rice. It was soooooo good. The menu changes daily and I will be back everyday to try everything! I highly recommend this restaurant. You will not be disappointed. Read more
If you haven't been here you have no idea what kind of amazing home cooked food you are missing out on. Mrs. Doris does not... mess around. I saw an article in the Freep that was about this little restaurant and the wonderful woman that lived in SouthCarolina that owns it. I thought to myself well... I need this. I haven't had good soul food since I lived in North Carolina! She did not have greens today due to catering for large parties this past weekend.... but ill be back for just aboutEVERYTHING! Kind service and a home cooked meal. Decided to make a visit after reading about in the newspaper. Baked beans were hot;... however, corn was cold and smoked sausage was also served cold. If food was prepared ahead of time would appreciated if it waswarmed prior to serving. Read more
