I finally made! OMG this has got to be the best I've had in years. My corned beef sandwich is delicious and so tender. Big... ups to the staff! Somehow my order was sent to 7 mile location. The staff was pleasant and patient over the phone assisting mewith canceling the order. I had the same professional customer service when I called the Jefferson to place my order. At the cost of 15$ almost 16$.. for a sandwich the meat that was cold in the middle and salty ..the bread was a soggy too wet... to eat.. The cheese on it must have been a cheese spread.. so I didn't eat that.. totally disappointment.. T off for wasting mymoney... Looked like some one stepped on my pickle.. There Reuben Roast Beef Sandwhich on white bread was made to PERFECTION! I can't lie. I was nervous about spending $15 on a... sandwich, as a lot of restaurants are cheap on quality and proportions to save a buck, and though I'd like to have a bit "more"proportions for the price, I was BEYOND SATISFIED. Next time, I'll just pay the extra $5 to see if that does the trick, but theregular size was filling. I guess, tbh, I'm greedy and wanted more because by the last bite I was FEIGNING for more lol. Itwasn't that I wasn't full, it's that I wanted to eat more of the sandwich then I could anyway. I wanted leftovers, and maybethat's evil of me lol. I was doordashing for a customer, and I never - NEVER - out of 1500+ orders, think to eat at arestaurant I've delivered for. I've been curious what people eat, but never curious enough to go, "I gotta' have that!". Well,yesterday was that, "I gotta' have that!" moment when I met 2 friendly black-male workers. The store is SUPER clean (tbh, notvery typical of detroit restaurants), and they looked at me like, "You KNOW you want to try some of this corned beef". I wentto my car, with my doordash customers order on hand, and something told me, "Treat yourself. Give it shot." So, I did. And myGod...I'm having flashbacks the moment I bit into the sandwhich. I pre-ordered my food prior to dropping my DD order, andrushed back when I realized they closed 10 minutes before I ordered. I was 6 minutes late and (who I think was the owner) lookeda bit irritated. Can't say I blame him. And asked, "Did you order XYZ? Hurry up and get your food! We're ready to go!" Sir, yes,sir lol. I appreciate you guys waiting for me to return for my food when you didn't know if I would or not. Had I known youwere closing shortly when I got there, I would have never ordered, but I'm glad I did because I would have never thought toreturn on my own as I do 100's of deliveries.
