I?ve had Indian food all over this state . Hands down the best service, very fresh ingredient, made to order. Highly recommend... this place. It also has a great ambience. I?ll be coming back to this place even though it?s a 40 min drive for me Read more

My husband and I go to Eastern Market Brewing a lot, and the smells from that side of the street are always enticing. We decided... today that we'd skip our old stand by favorite, Supino, and try Midnight Temple. We got somosas and the masala Dosa. Both werevery underwhelming. The somosas came out almost immediately and were cold. Then, we saw our dosa made, the cook handed it tosomeone who went into a building, then it came out with filling and some kind of hummus. The entire dosa was cold. The hummushad bay leaves and full dried chilis in it. Next time we'll stick with the Supino pizza. Read more

I went to the local tonight. They didn?t exist. I interrupted an event on Gratiot upstairs, went around the corner, drove around... the block. The didn?t exist. So I went on Conant to 2 Yeman restaurants ordered 2 house bone in rice dished to enjoy. Isavored and stopped before chewing further. Then I chewed, and ate knowing the guys recommendation was oh so spot on. Iswallowed. Then it was time to care for te rest of life this evening. That place sucked w/o any existence. It's a smart business model to set up shop next to the distillery. Made the choice to grab some food to go with our cocktails... and was completely underwhelmed. Dinner prices for small bites of flavorless, underwhelming samosa and chicken Manchurian, whichdid not resemble any Manchurian I have ever had. Do yourself a favor and stop in Hamtramck for Indian food instead beforehitting the great Detroit City Distillery. Read more
