Loved the place! Their mutton seekh kabab is worth to order! There are few places who offers fresh hot pita bread with hummus... and this is one of the them! Glad we decided to try them! Make sure you reserve the table in advance. Read more

Overall a solid restaurant. Great ambiance, staff and location.. the food was fantastic, great mezze, drinks and dessert. If... I had to pick an area of improvement was the meat. It was very good but didn't have that grill or char flavour that you wouldexpect. Overall, I really enjoyed this place and definitely worth checking out when you are in Detroit. Read more

Very aesthetic and chic inside. We were greeted almost as soon as we sat down at our table. Our waiter was friendly and even... though it was busy we never felt rushed. Started with the beets, hummus, and garlic confit (not pictured). There was also garlicbutter with the pita. Pita was great and they had an open kitchen so you could see it all happening. I had the kafta for dinner.Really delicious lamb. Tomato sauce (see picture) that it came with definitely has a little kick to it. Girlfriends got thesalmon, mixed mezza, ribs, they all said it was delicious! I finished off with the knafeh and let me just say, best knafeh I?veever had. Cheese was gooey, bits on top crispy for texture, and the rose syrup that was poured table side was just enoughsweetness to balance it out. Oh, and drinks! All delicious. I believe that table stuck with the ?Anne Hathaway? or the?Lebanita? and they were downed in a timely manner? maybe! Food was packaged for us and it couldn?t have been a lovelier spotfor a celebration. Highly recommend. Read more

This is such an amazing restaurant with a fantastic atmosphere- the interior design is wonderful and it?s so nice to walk around... capitol park before and after your meal here. The menu had great cocktails ???? and we selected mostly vegetarian dishes, whichhad generous portions and lots of pita bread to go with it. Their tomato kibbeh, garlic confit, and beetroot with feta wereexcellent. Read more

Great patio dining experience on a beautiful night in Detroit. The lentil entree was unusual and delicious with an excellent... balance of lentils and fresh tomatoes and greens that were bursting with flavor. Baklava dessert cigars were to die for.Apologies for the half-eaten picture but I had to. they were sooooo good. Read more

Great service. Food is phenomenal love that everything is sharable. Our table location was ok, it was in a high traffic area and... my husband was bumped once. Would def make a more detailed request in your reservation if u are partial to where you sit. Read more

Leila is a lovely restaurant with exceptional vegan options, and the service was warm, welcoming, and prompt. Many dishes are... conventional Middle Eastern, but some would-be classic dishes are done in a unique way I haven't seen elsewhere (like the tomatokibbeh and mujaddara, both of which are vegan). You could have an entirely small plates meal if you wish, or order entrees inaddition to some small plates. My date and I ordered 4 small plates and 2 entrees, which was way too much food but very fun andwe enjoyed everything. Our cocktails were excellent. There are a ton of vegan things -- enough to require at least 2-3 visitsto try them all, even if you order several plates. My omnivore date loved the meat dishes he tried. Read more
