Ahem idk what happened but when the first time I ordered from this place of location, the food was good until today it was my... first nasty meal ever. The liver was soggy and a odd smell to the taste, the Mac and cheese tasted as if it been out of a burntwater from the bottom of the pan, the catfish uummm and so obviously the same spoon is being used if I had to find green/cabbageand macaroni elbows inside my corns. Next time have some patience preparing the food because yuck and a no go so I w not bereturning. Read more
This place is a neighborhood gem, great place to dine in!! The food comes fast & fresh!! The cheesy eggs, grits & hash browns... SLAP!!! The cat fish and salmon patties are good too. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. There isn't a ton ofseating areas inside but dining out meals are just as good. Read more
Never judge a book by its cover ???? The employees we're very polite and helpful, and the prices for food was quite fair minus... the cost of drinks. The food was excellent ???? I ordered the liver and onions over rice with gravy and sided with friedpotatoes and vegetables. We tried this for the first time last weekend. We ordered the fried turkey chops, candied yams and mac & cheese. The meal comes... with two sides and cornbread; the yams were good while the mac & cheese was okay as I would have liked more cheese. The star wasthe turkey chops which we would definitely get again. We were disappointed that a lot of the sides are cooked with pork and notturkey as we don't eat pork so if that's you just know you don't have a lot to choose from regarding sides. Read more
This place is my go to for ALL things delicious!!! My wife and I love the salmon for breakfast but the meatloaf is glorious as... well as the mashed potatoes... I haven't tried everything yet.... and they are ALWAYS BUSY... BUT ITS BEYOND WORTH IT!!! Read more
