Amazing food, good service and marvelous view ?

This was an amazing place and I would highly recommended. One of a kind in the state of Michigan (literally you are on the... highest structure in Michigan). The views in the lounge and bar are incredible. Great place for appetizers and beverages. For asit down experience I would recommend their fancier Highlands (with even better views of city). However for a causal vibe andatmosphere I would eat in this area (Hearth 71). There is a lounge, bar and bar tables. The food selection is moderate but highquality! Great for appetizers. The burgers are amazing and unique. Service here is also on top and friendly. A tip on gettinghere: RenCen is a poor layout it?s beginning, so pay attention to maps and signs or you?ll get lost. (You know what I?m talkingabout if you have been here before.) Parking is relatively cheap if you go with the structure closest to river (NOT the one nearJefferson, it?s double the cost.) Definitely now one of my favorite restaurants in Downtown. There is noting in Detroit orMichigan with these views. While the menu is not the cheapest you pay for the quality food, views! and service which I wouldconsider a good value. Read more

This was the first time my wife and I visited Detroit and we found this restaurant online. We decided to try out for the view... from the 71st floor of the GM building. We had a wonderful experience! Dinner was delicious, though there aren't a ton ofoptions. Overall we spend a modest $50 for both of us, the service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the view wasincredible. There aren't many signs to know how to get there but follow signs to the Highland in the building and when they askfor reservations tell them you're going to Hearth 71 and enjoy the spectacular elevator ride up to the 71st floor. We had such a wonderful time last night at Hearth 71. We arrived early to appreciate the view in daylight and the night sky. We... had a window seat immediately upon arrival and shared champagne to celebrate our 10th Anniversary, on the house. Our server wasexcellent, Anthony had the best personality and helped to make the evening that much more special- he made perfect menurecommendations and made sure our glasses were full and we had everything we needed all night. The food was delicious, thecocktails were perfectly mixed and we stayed 3 hours without feeling rushed. We?ll definitely be back! Read more

We arrived pretty early and got a great table, though most table all enjoy the views. Food was thoughtfully crafted, mixing... great flavors. We enjoyed a cocktail and the cookie dessert (warm chocolate chip cookies with sea salt, with a milkshake). Staff was great, they validated parking (well discounted) as well. Pretty reasonable prices especially considering the moreexpensive counterpart in the other side. Read more
