Had the tasting with pairing to celebrate a special occasion and this place didn?t disappoint! Between the two of us we tried... essentially everything on the menu and thought everything was fresh, inventive and balanced. Hats off to the som who alsocultivated the perfect wine pairings to go along. However, be prepared for a majorly white wine adventure. Kick off sourdoughand champagne toast, Take home biscotti, vinyl selection, and exceptional/charismatic service were also nice touches! First time attempting the tasting dinner and it didn't disappoint. All five courses very enjoyable, altho the duck was... overcooked (and the lamb under). Dessert ok. Wine pairing superb. Oysters hard yes. Seafood chowder omg. Shrimp dumplings marryme. The music menu is a cool treat. Not a huge fan of the glass block ambiance...weird brightness. Service very good. Willreturn. Unique experience. Fun and interesting plates. The staff and service were excellent. They certainly make your dining memorable.... Very nice small touches, like champagne when you?re seated at your table, and a ?take home? dessert, after your dessert. Greatplace for a special occasion or date night. Hands down one of the best dining experiences in Detroit. The decor is a nice combination of minimalist industrial without... feeling cold. Also have to comment on the ability to choose a record to play (I was tickled when my album came on!). The foodwas incredible and perfectly portioned and paced. Went with a group of friends visiting from out of state and we had a great time! The portions are small but it's still very... filling by the end of the meal. There were also complimentary drinks/snacks as part of the experience and that really added anice touch. The flavors are interesting and unique, and the service was exisquite. Read more
