They didn?t accept my older bill even though it marked off as real they told me they didn?t trust it so I pulled out a newer... bill and it marked off the same exact way and they took it, So I was confused and felt disrespected cus if they marked off thesame why wouldn?t u accept my older bill but take the newer one? Lord have mercy! The Big Baby is massively huge, but yes - order it anyway. You will eat it all because it is THAT good.
This breakfast made me so sad. I was excited about beef bacon and sausage. Didn't realize the sausage is like polish sausage... style, not breakfast links or patties. And the bacon was hard as tree bark and less flavorful. Burnt to a crisp and hard tochew. Asked for over hard eggs and got scrambled. Also, I don't consider diced breakfast potatoes hash browns. I was expectingshredded or at least sliced potatoes, but they are the cubed kind, not my fave. Super let down. Maybe the dinner stuff is betterbut the reviews show that overcooking is common here. These are the big baby fries! Not what's being advertised. Burnt hamburger, no cornbeef, little cheese. Made on a griddle that... probably haven't been cleaned all year! First and last time eating here. Was recommended by a friend and he said "they must havefell off". I wouldn't even have responded in detail like this, but when I called to explain my order; the owner and cashierboth didn't care to hear what was wrong about what was purchased because he believes he makes "EVERYTHING" the same way. Iwouldn't give these burnt nasty fries to my dog! Iwant the SAME quality I seen on the TV show, before the pandemic, before therecession, and after! Don't charge me for cornbeef if you're not gonna give me cornbeef! If you have to modify and downgradeyour items because of the pandemic, then modify these PICTURES too! Do better! I'll continue supporting other black ownrestaurants that actually take pride in their food, and people. Or maybe it's time for you to hang it up. So the wait is about 25 minutes, and WELL worth it! I ordered their classic Big Baby burger, a lamb burger, and some Big baby... fries. This was one of the best burgers I ever had, the corned beef was immaculate and everything was fresh and HUGE! A must tryfor anyone visiting Detroit. Read more
My job ordered from them as a treat to us and I was highly disappointed- and I'm not one to complain about free food. I ordered... the steak bites and mashed potatoes but got a few bits of steak with loads of fat (some pieces didn't even have steak, just fat)and diced potatoes- like breakfast potatoes. Not at all what I expected. To make matters worse, the food was incredibly bland.Even the Kool Aid was gross. It tasted like it was made with well water or something.
