Order was wrong, cashier gave me bad time about fixing it. Fried chicken and fried okra were overcooked and tasted like old... grease. Cole slaw was good. I was over charged by $5, gave up trying to fix it. I will not go back. At least one other persongot the wrong order also. Read more

Placed an online order 1/6/2022 and paid for it, upon going to the restaurant to pick it up we noticed that the doors were... locked. We knocked and knocked several minutes before a staff member appeared and motioned that the store was closed. 1.5 hoursbefore their closing time!!! I understand that with the pandemic, stores are closing early so that's understandable. However, they should not be accepting online orders if they aren't opened. Also, the store's phone number goes straight to voicemail! Thefollowing day, we returned for our purchase or a refund after being informed by the staff the previous day to return at 1100 amwhen they were opened. Not only were the doors again locked at 1130, but upon knocking several minutes AGAIN, we were informedthey would not open until 1pm, and to return. I stated to the staff member that I just wanted a refund. They were notaccomodating, nor did they care. I left and immediately called Church's Corp. I HAD A HORRIBLE FOOD POISONING. If you want to spend 2 days on the toilet and intensely vomit at the hospital, eat here. Food... poisoning at its finest. Absolutely no hygiene. I saw the worker drop a piece of chicken on the floor then pick it up andplace it back on the chicken rack to serve to the customers. Who knows what goes on in that kitchen behind the scenes... I appreciate the staff taking my order on the telephone and preparing the food once I got there It was great. I appreciate them... even being open late in the evening. Reminds me of back in the day when I used to work for the Church's Chicken on 7 Mile andSouthfield expressway. Brought back great memories. Read more
