i purchased a meal from this location on ubereats, the app wouldn?t let me specify which cheesecake i wanted so i called the... store and politely asked if they could give me the strawberry one. The person on the phone responded with a rude ?okay.? Iproceeded to tell them the name of my order but i was rudely cut off to them saying ?i know which one it is.? And they hung up.When my food arrived i saw that my drink was missing which i was pretty upset about. In town to visit my relatives and needed a quick bite to eat that was not KFC, Popeyes, or the standard chain restaurants.... Captain Jay's came highly recommended I ordered the chicken finger with the lemon pepper seasoning along with a peach cobbler.The chicken was fresh and fried crispy (the way that I like it). The lemon pepper season gave it the extra kick and reminded meof the "crack chicken" seasoning in Lansing, MI. The peach cobbler was a disappointment--it looked and tasted like they made itwith canned peach pie filling. They could've kept that mess. The chicken was good. Now I know to avoid the desserts and see ickto the chicken, fish, and french fries. Side Note: Cleveland could use one of these special seasoning type restaurants. I maywant to open one up there.
