I love this coffee even though they were short staffed everything was still hot and fresh
Not 24 hours, not available to the outside public, located in a hospital, walked around outside for 20 minutes trying to get in... to be redirected to the 24 hour entrance and was told to leave due to not being a doctor, patient, or visitor - this SHOULD beindicated on this as an option; good luck trying to find a late night bagel shop in Detroit. Been working at the hospital since 2017 and the service is the slowest around. If you don't have 30 minutes to spare, don't... consider stopping. Also I always have to ask the syrup to be halved because the drinks are so, so sweet. I come because I wantespresso over department coffee, but wish there was a compete in the building who can deliver consistent, timely service. Thestaff also dress very inappropriate for a professional setting at times. I will say I have never received the poor and rudecustomer service everyone is speak of. Only In Business Because It's in a Hospital. With the exception of the college sisters that answered questions, I've had awful,... RUDE staff, poor hygiene and wildly inconsistent coffee. As someone who was a barista before I was a nurse, this is the WORSTcoffee shop I've ever been to. The condescending, roll-your-eyes-at-polite-customers, put-out staff is abominable. If it was an option it would be no stars! They are usually always rude, dismissive! Some drinks can come multiple ways and they... never give the options. For someone like myself, I am not a frequent coffee drinker, so I feel like it would be not onlyinformative but polite to let someone know what their options are. I ordered someone something today and didn't know it came afew different ways, the young lady prepared it hot and I told her that I wanted it cold and I was under the assumption that shewas going to remake it or if there was an extra charge, she would have told me. Instead, I waited an extra 7-10 minutes and hadto ask if it would be made again, only to be told that it was extra and that I would to be rang up again. For all the timewasted, it should have been no charge. I didn't mind paying the $0.50, but the customer service and consideration was very poorto say the least. Read more
Coffee is coffee, but this place stands out because of the consistently poor service. Yes, this is in a hospital and it does get... busy, but the staff should be able to act polite, make orders in the order received, and maintain a clean work station - this isnot the case here. Too many times my drink or food order has been overlooked and I'm left waiting 15 minutes with no apology. Read more
