First time there...ever... our waitress was GREAT!!! Food was breakfast nothing crazy.. You know when you see those videos... online where there's always a fight or argument in the restaurant.... well it's so true... staff yelling at each other aboutstolen money and shifts changes.... It was ok until a group of people came in and half were sitting and some still standing and the waitress standing behind the... counter with her arms behind her back. She could have cleaned the table and let them sit even if she was not ready to take thereorder and then took order of the other people whom were with them and still did not sit them..Myself and the people I was withcleaned our table by putting our plates on the already dirty table and told them to take our table as we were about to leaveanyway and then I was approached by the lady waiting on us telling me how that table was a different section. Slow?slow?short order cook can?t keep up nothing was timed correctly so everything was cold well except the hash. Salt shaker... cap was loose, that joke never get old I guess? Read more
Just went to eat at this Waffle House after an evening of fishing. They were packed. There was one table that needed cleaning.... My husband sat down and moved the dishes and saw a German cockroach on the table. He got up quick and told the waitress. I?m arude tone she said sir I need you to wait over there. He pointed out there was roach on the table. She said I know and continuedto speak to him in a mean tone. He wasn?t sure if she understood what he said and said it again. She said again I know. Very good location in Destin and it was literally by the side of our Motel (Village Inn). We stopped by in this Waffle House at... midnight, and to be honest? i didn?t think it was the best waffle I ever ate. The service was very friendly and they work hard.The food was just fine and the price was reasonable. That is it! Read more
We didn't bother eating there. After sitting down, I started looking around. It was filthy had nates all over, didn't look like... it was cleaned in forever. So we ended up getting our orange juice to go. Well we got to our room, the cap had a dead Nate onit. My daughter opened the cap and there was a hair floating and the oj was so thick. The Waffle house in Destin by AJs is awesome. The cook is great and so is the rest of the staff. I do think they need more help... at night. Especially with the bars being around that area. People leave the bars and get hungry. The breakfast bowl was tasty. Read more
I had an amazing time with my partner for our 3 year anniversary! Our waitress was so sweet and made us feel welcomed. I would... have loved to give 5 stars but when our waitress went off on a short break the the ladies room the other waitress was talkingtrash about her while the cook tried to stand up for and her and I thought it was very unsavory.
