Checked this place out. Be prepared to spend! Staff was very nice and communicated great. Place was a ghost town, but that's... fine with us. Chef was very funny and entertaining. They don't cook with sake and very little soy sauce. This concept is fine asthe food tasted good. My only issue is that they used a lot of salt and personally I'm not a fan of salt. A very little bit isokay but I feel like they used just a bit too much. Also I don't know that they used any garlic, if they did they didn't useenough. However, these things are my personal preference and you may very well disagree and love it. Took my daughter and her friend here for dinner on a Saturday night. We showed up around 6 pm and fortunately was taken right to... a hibachi table. The waitress was very attentive and took out drink orders and dinner orders. She never let my glass get pasthalf empty. She was great. We did order a sushi roll to go with our dinner. Very standard experience by the chef. Entertainingwhile he was cooking. Definitely a little on the expensive side, which I fully expected but came with an average overallexperience that you can get at any hibachi restaurant. Read more

Such a wonderful experience! We sat a little bit because a bus got there the same time as us and a wedding party of 36 right... after us... so it took about 2.5 hours, make sure to order appetizers! The wait once you get to the table is the longest, that'swhy we do the apps when they take our drink order, while we wait. It's typical to have a wait time, but extremely enjoying andentertaining... make an evening of it and don't be in a rush! Check them out! Osaka was renovated in the last few weeks. The result is a very neat and clean restaurant with a pleasant ambiance. We were... there for lunch and each ordered a Bento Box. My choice was the teriyaki salmon and my dining companion had the chicken. Themeal also came with miso soup or a salad. The salad was very fresh. The lettuce was crisp and all ingredients were fresh andcrisp. The Bento Box turned out to be a rather large meal, including rice, another small salad, dumplings, and oranges. It wasalso very good. I preferred the chicken to the salmon. Both were good but I thought the teriyaki sauce went better with thechicken. There are several dining rooms in the restaurant, including a large room for hibachi. On our next visit, I will nodoubt try the hibachi room and meal. There is also a large variety of sushi rolls available on the menu. The ingredients wereon display in a glass container and appeared very fresh. The ambiance is very pleasant with displays representing Japaneseculture (see photos). The garden out front is very pleasant and relaxing. Extremely disappointed. This is my first time in Destin and my friends wanted to try this place out. I am currently sitting here... at 8pm still waiting for a cook to arrive at our grill. We arrived at 6pm and the host told us it would be a 45 min wait. Afteran hour of sitting at the bar we were told we could be seated. For some reason we were seated next to the only other person inthe room that was the same race as us. This may have just been a coincidence. We ordered our food and sat as the people who camebefore us were serviced. We were excited that after an hour and a half that we were next. Then we see the cook walk past us andgo straight to the table that was seated after us. So I asked why this happened and our waitress said it was because they had aparty. I would not recommend any of my military coworkers or friends to come here. For the price you are paying you should beexpecting great service and that?s simply what we have not received. I hope this is not how they have treated other servicemembers. The chef has just arrived at 8:18 thank goodness. He has apologized for the long wait which I appreciate. Hopefully thefood is good. This place is awesome. Never seen a hibachi restaurant that had 18 hibachi tables, A full bar and lounge, multiple Koi pond and... a gift shop. The food was good and it comes at you fast but that?s typical of any hibachi restaurant. There?s so much food!!! Even eating nonstop I still finished with a full play to go. Food was also tasty in my opinion. For me not too crazy about thenoodles with lettuce and carrots etc. in it. I?m a plain kind a guy. The meal was pricey but it?s because it included the servertip. The gift shop is magnificent. Such beautiful pieces of Japanese culture for sale. All the people working there were veryvery friendly. All in all it was a good dining experience. Read more
