Love this place so much. It was the second time I?ve been here and it never disappoints. My fiancé got the salmon and it was... amazing. I got the prime rib and was perhaps a touch too tough for my liking but was amazing nonetheless. The mashed potatoesand the Irish bread are so good it?ll keep you up at night. I had a bartender upstairs at the sunset patio with ?A1? on his nametag, I didn?t catch his name but he was absolutely phenomenal. Excellent service. My god, this pub has some of the best food I have ever had in my life, and that is not an exaggeration. The Bavarian Pretzel was... the appetizer I shared with my wife and it was delicious, along with the mustard and beer cheese whoch made it better. I got theShepard's Pie for an entree and my wife had the Lamb Stew, and we were upset that we couldn't finish the food, but we havedelicious leftovers for tomorrow. Our waiter, Caesar, was one of the nicest guys I've ever met, and easily the best waiter I'veever had. He was excellent and sets the bar incredibly high. My only complaint is that I do not have food even remotely as goodback where I live. Seriously, this pub is that good. You will love it there, and ask for Caesar when you go in. Read more
McGuire?s is a staple in the Destin area. First of all, the pub atmosphere is amazing. The music and the lighting really set the... mood for a laid back dinner. You have got to grab an Irish Wake to drink to get things going for your meal. The steaks are topnotch and it is impossible to find anything on the menu that is not great. The bangers and mash are filling and are a very gooddeal for the price you pay. Head upstairs for live music and a little more fast paced vibe than the downstairs bar area. I went here first my 15 birthday. (my first birthday in Florida!) and the service was amazing Eric and the other waiter which I... do not remember his name but they were both friendly and very funny. ???? The root beer was the greatest root beer I?ve everhad!???? The steak was very juicy and tender a bit hot though but that?s reasonable. I loved the prank they did with therestrooms too. ???? Extremely crowed. But, we were luck to have spots at the bar upstairs. Service was excellent, Victoria was very nice. The view... was a unique and such a cool place with the moose and the one dollar in the wall was fun. Great experience and certainly we wantto back! Read more
We met up with our friends for lunch on a cold windy January weekend. We were quickly met at the entrance and seated right away.... Ambiance was cool and inviting. The lighting is dim; therefore, my photos look like our food was in a tanning bed. Service wasimpeccable. Waitstaff were extremely accommodating. Food was prepared in a timely manner. Everything taste great. We had the.$18 Senate (Bean) Soup as our appetizer with the complimentary bread. We had Reuben sandwiches, chips, and potato salad. It wasfantastic! This restaurant is a great place to meet up with friends. Lunch menu was affordable. It?s very convenient to justabout everything. Parking lot is not big enough for big rigs, but you could probably park near by with a short walk. It?s onlyabout 25-30 minutes to the Topsail Hill Preserve State Park Campground. First time at the pub. Brandy was an amazing waitress. She had a pin that said she was new but she was incredible. My goodness... was it amazing. Have the pork chops! Don't forget you can get the sushi from the sushi restaurant at the pub. Had to contributea couple dollars to the wall. My sons band is one of them at the entrance to the kitchen upstairs.
