If you are looking for a place that elevates their food and you dining experience, I recommend this spot. The most exceptional... thing here is the experience in an upbeat environment and the staff. Our waiter was well informed about the menu, veryattentive, and had a nice bit of humor to make ordering fun for the whole family. I?d give our waiter higher than a 10/10 ifpossible. They have their very own signature cocktail, which I highly recommend. It has fresh pineapple, coconut juice and amix with slush ice that is perfect and most refreshing. I?d never even tased fried pickles, however, these were fantastic. Wehad them three more times in Destin, but these were the best and come with a tasty dip. The Marinated Pork Skewers were a bitoverdone and dry, but still filling and tasty. I had the Hawaiian Poke Bowl and the fresh ahi tuna was excellent. It comes tothe table with fresh avocado, slicked cucumber, loads of mango, arranged on top and roasted sesame seeds. Being a family thatlikes brussel sprouts, this is a hit. Tossed with roasted almonds, a few cranberries, in a light parmesan/balsamic dressing ?they are super good. I highly recommend them. We had the Californian Sushi Roll and Crunchy Shrimp Roll. Their sushi i so goodeven the kids liked it; they really got into using chop sticks, which was a fun dexterity test. For Destin, it has exceptionalparking. The interior décor is delightful with lots of unusual seafood themed items. Staff was happy to explain how some localartist contributed their stories and talents. The signage is large and near the road, so of all the places we went, Jackacudaswas the easiest to find. Read more

The atmosphere was great. The restrooms where very clean. Mikayla our server was amazing she exceeded our expectations and was... very informative. Food was Excellent!!!! I ordered the blackened snapper topped with jumbo shrimp potatoes and sautéed Brusselsprouts. It was so good I don't remember what my wife and kids ordered just look at the pictures. Food was very good but some of the items were a bit pricey I had a amazing mango and blackberry salad with lemon vanilla... dressing.our server shaniece was friendly and attentive.sushi was good as well. Everybody was extremely sweet and friendly, even had a sense of humor which seems rare these days, they were super patient and... made notes of my allergy to take caution. Lots of people complain about the gratuity but there?s signs and notices posted whenyou first walk in, it?s not a surprise and most people don?t tip anyways nowadays. The food was amazing and they helprecommended if you don?t know what you?re in the mood for! This was one of our favorite dinners during our most recent trip to Destin. They have a very unique menu, setting them apart... from most restaurants in the area. The lady who greeted us was so friendly and immediately started chatting with our kids - shewas so bubbly and kind! Our server, Haley, was wonderful. She had the best menu recommendations, never left us without filledbeverages, was very upbeat & SO patient with our family of five. Jackacudas is our go-to spot. The food is great and so is the service. They change the menu pretty frequently, introducing new... items but they also always seem to keep their main favorites available to order as well. Sushi is delicious, fresh. This is anAsian inspired seafood/southern spot. Interesting concept but it works. We got takeout from here today. Really not great, especially for the price tag. The poke bowls were ok, chicken fried rice not... good. The country boil was a HUGE disappointment. I guess that?s what I get for ordering a Cajun dish at a sushi place. Totallybland, zero flavorful. I knew when I saw the potatoes that it would be a disaster. They?re using basically breakfast potatoes.Doesn?t work like that. Also they use the packets of cocktail sauce from Ken?s Steakhouse. No bueno. As far as service, the galgiving the order was friendly, and the food was ready very quickly. All in all, I?d suggest going somewhere else, even ifthere?s a wait. Read more
