Totally awesome! Food was great! Service was amazing! Atmosphere was super cute! We called in a pickup order on our way to... our vacation condo, and they were pleasant and fast to serve. I got the crab cakes, which were outstanding! Thank you. Wewill be back for live music soon. Read more
Beware! Don?t get hoodwinked! I went to Bric a Brac for dinner. We had a reservation for a party of six which includedmyself,... my husband and four children, ages ranging from 17 to 11 years. The decor and ambience was great with live music. Everythingwas great until the waitress presented the bill, where there was a difference of $12 between a credit card payment and cashpayment. This was not mentioned on the restaurant?s website or the restaurant?s menu. The manager stated this is something thatthe restaurant was recently doing. He showed us a nondescript sign on the back of the entrance door, where you would only see itwhen leaving. The sign didn?t mention the 4% surcharge for credit card payment. I was told that I could use the ATM machine tomake a cash payment. However, given it wasn?t in my banking network, I would also be charged additional fee. So basically, atthe time of payment, I would be charged additional fees for either a credit card or cash payment. Definitely walked away with asour taste in my mouth. Can?t believe I didn?t have a opportunity to decide whether I could get cash on the way to therestaurant or better yet choose one that doesn?t have a 4% credit card surcharge. Read more
Food was excellent! Told 30-45 mins wait, but we ended up being seated as we entered! Fun vibe, cute place. Had about 20 min... wait, before we were greeted, received drinks by our waiter (short staffed). Otherwise the food was excellent!! We got the Pastalya and crawfish chowder. So good! Fun atmosphere! We weren?t in the mood to fight dinner traffic on 98, and this is close to our condo on Gulf Shores Drive, so we... dropped in here on our way to the grocery store. We walked in at 5:40 pm and were sat immediately. Service was friendly and foodcame out quickly. Portions are HUGE!! We had the crab cakes and bric a brac chicken, and both dishes were very tasty! It's all in the name! The atmosphere is very whimsical and random. Your eyes are sure to stay busy admiring all the interesting... artwork, decorations, and knick knacks throughout the restaurant. The prices were very reasonable and portions were plentiful!Service was PHENOMENAL! (Thank you Calina!) My wife and I both got the Coconut Shrimp for an appetizer and the Blackened Grouperwith a Grit Cake and Mixed Veggies. Everything was seasoned to perfection and absolutely delicious! Great surprise! Close to our rental. Was not our first choice. It turned out to be a fun place with great food. We got there... around 7:30. One down side was they were out of their crab cakes. Decided on the blackened grouper. Was delicious. Cookedvery well in butter (could taste it) and seasoned well. There was a band. They were very good and entertaining. People dancingand having a great time. It's a must try. Read more
