We had such a great experience at Boshamps! We arrived at about 5 o?clock on a Thursday night and were promptly seated with no... waiting time. We had a great server that made great recommendations for us being that it was our first time there. Our drinkswere amazing and arrived just in time for us to enjoy with our oysters on the half shell. Our entrees only took about fifteenminutes to be prepared and they were INCREDIBLE! We did not save room for desert, but the desert options sounded great. After wefinished up dinner we walked around down by the harbor and enjoyed the view. A live band was tuning up to get ready to play. Wewill definitely be back to Boshamps! Highly recommend if you are in the area! Read more
The food was delicious! Great customer service! We loved it so much we went 2 days in a row! The PAN SAUTEED GULF SNAPPER was my... favorite! The parking can be a little difficult but it?s so worth it. We?ll definitely go back when we go back to Destin. Read more
Enjoyed eating at this restaurant. There was about a 2 hour wait, but it was well worth the wait. Prices were on the high end,... but the food had a great presentation and tasted great. The hostess and server added to the ambiance of the restaurant. Theserver did a great job from beginning to end, never felt neglected. All of our needs were met. Restrooms were very clean. Read more
Wow was this good. Everything we ordered was spot on. PLAN AHEAD the wait times can be crazy long. We waited for over 90 minutes... but it was worth it. Food: 10/10, as good as it gets in this price range. Atmosphere: 10/10. They?ve got indoor and outdoorseating on the water. You can walk down to the docks. There?s even a small beach out back with games for kids andadults! Price: Totally fair given the quality. We spent about $40/person with a shared appetizer, main dishes and drinks. Read more
Without a doubt the best meal I have ever had. I had the snapper over pasta. I believe it's the first dish listed in the... "standards" section. Basically our table had the first 3 dishes under standards, a few appetizers and the kids had the burger. They were all phenomenal. My husband had the chef's special for the night. It was some kind of tuna dish with a summer salad. I cannot explain how good my dish, the snapper and pasta was. Usually pasta is very filling and I was prepared to be miserable. To my surprise, I was able to finish the entire thing and it was divine. The pasta is made in house. We had a 2.5 hours wait. We were initially told 1 hour 45 minutes, so just be prepared to wait. Go outback to their beach area and watch the boats, theplanes and play some games. There are comfy chairs and hammocks. It was a nice wait. Get drinks at the bar and kick back andwait. It is worth it. Be prepared to spend money. The food is not cheap, about $40-50 a person average I would say, plusdrinks. Our bill for 4 was about $260. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable. He knew every dish and was able to suggestdishes based on what we liked. He was very busy but was very attentive, keeping drinks filled and our food came out timely. Itwas a great dining experience all around. During dinner, there was a fireworks show very close and we had the perfecttable/view of them. The wait wasn't bad they had lots of stuff to do while you waited for a table. They are family friendly. They also have a few... bars to order from while waiting. Once we were seated our waiter took our drink order and appetizers. They were out fast. Assoon as we got or appetizers he took our order and our food was out before we finished our appetizers. The food was AMAZING,!!THE BEST FOOD AROUND. We had a few locals tell us about it and they weren't wrong about it. Definitely if you get a chance yougot to try it. We had to wait a little but longer then I expected for our Party of 6, so we sat at the bar. The note about your entire party... must be present to be seated is not totally true. I saw people being seated at a table of 6 even though there were only twopeople, the rest showed up late. Also two people got seated fast then the large group. Came here on a Sunday night in which they also have live music. This place will be packed and the chance of you finding a... parking spot are pretty slim, but they do offer valet parking. The wait will probably be a couple hours, but don't threat,there's a beach area in the back where the kids can play. They have indoor eating around the bar and outdoor seating on multiplelevels. They start you off with traditional hush puppies, which are nothing special, in my opinion, no matter how good you makethem. I ordered a side salad and it was just a heap of lettuce pretty much with some nuts on it for $13. Okay so they're 0 for2... My meal was a 10 out of 10! I ordered The first thing on the menu, which is red snapper with a homemade pasta, both wereamazing. My kids dishes also were better than average, there is a shrimp option for the kids that isn't listed on the menu forabout $11. This place is not cheap, but if you come on a day where there's live music, you can watch a nice sunset and havesome good fish. Also, I would say that my dish was better than Louisiana Lagniappe.
