Tucked in the back of The Commons in Destin, we found this place and expected a wait due to summertime in a tourist city. Once... the food was served, it proved to be worth that wait. Ordered a veggie omelette with goat cheese, roasted bell peppers, garlic and other. Also a wonderfully delicious gluten free... Blueberry-lemon goat cheese pancake. Fresh orange juice. Excellent as always, every time we come to FL we visit them. Food and service was great !
We had a pleasant brunch experience here. We came here 15 minutes before closing and enjoyed a very pleasant meal without... feeling rushed at all. The chicken and waffles were great as was the lobster brie omelet. The pancakes were not my favorite butthey were still good enough for me to finish the whole plate. Overall recommend this spot for anyone who hasn't tried it. Thedrink menu was also interesting but I chose to stick to orange juice. Read more
We had to wait for over an hour to get a seat cuz they were only seating 50% capacity which I understand because of the covid... and the sickness I get that they were nice enough about it but the food was amazing they had to close early cuz they had abathroom disaster but nonetheless it was a great experience my son and his girlfriend had a wonderful time we all had a greattime and we've also visited another one and it was just as fabulous. What a place! We have considered this place several times but today was the day. You definitely get your money's worth here. The... plate sizes are something I would expect to find in New Orleans, at a fraction of the cost. Pictured is the Banana Bread FrenchToast. 3 slices of Banana Bread Heaven with topping that will satisfy any sweet tooth. Also there is a picture of the Hello LucyOmelet. This masterpiece is a flavor Fiesta! On the side...at the suggestion of our waitress, "City Grits". This culinarydelight is an upscale Cheese Grits recipe that includes a creamy Gouda, scallions, bacon and tomatoes...and a little bacon fatfor added flavor (my personal take, I would have enjoyed it much more had it been a hearty Smoked Gouda, but a 5 star sidenonetheless). Absolutely fantastic! A must tryout. Food is yummy and great service. Clean facility. Coffee mugs are adorable and they sell... these in the restaurant. I've tried the blueberry, lemon zest pancakes, scrambled eggs, ham, bacon, pumpkin waffle. All werefabulous. The bacon was a little too smoked for my taste but over all, everything I had was top notch. Read more
