10/2022 4* Has an oldies style to it still. Never chagned I guess. Inside is nice. A few stools for counter sitting looking... out the window. Meant to be a drive up place probably years ago. CASH ONLY!! That is a downside, because I rarely carry cashanymore. Food was ok. Nothing to right home about. Hot dog was a simple Vienna Red Hot. Nothing special, same everywhere. And no refills on drinks. I will not likely be returning here. Read more
The best french fries ever!!! Oh, and the lemonade is pretty good! That's what I usually go there for. I've had a hot dog once... or twice and it was alright. I'm not a hot dog person so I can't say much about it. Read more
This place only takes cash and has an ATM machine inside for those who don't have cash. Food is pretty good. Fries were yummy... and the flavors of the hot dog was good. Great place to grab a classic Chicago hot dog, or Maxwell Street Polish sausage! We really appreciate that on Tuesday nights in... the summer they have a classic car show. Rand Red hots also has soft serve ice cream cones and milkshakes. They're fries are hotand crispy. A great place to grab a quick bite to eat and an ice cold drink. Read more
We've been going here since they opened. If Gene and Jude's is the known epitome of a great Chicago hotdog, Rand Red Hots is the... hidden gem. Located in an old fashioned drive-in, classic cars will often be on display by their owners. Freshly hand-cut friesare always delicious and Vienna red hots are the staple. Read more
CASH ONLY! Great dog with a nice snap. Nice seating area. Limited menu so they have the opportunity to focus! Prices are... fair, lots of fires with every dog. Even had a soft serve cone and it was a perfect end to a summer lunch. Well definitelybe back! Read more
Rand Red Hots has been making me happy since they opened! I am lucky to be only 5 minutes away. Authentic Chicago style red hots... and Maxwell polish, with hand cut fries. Shakes are great heck all their offerings are fantastic. Also, the young folks behindcounter really work hard. A great joint. Read more
It's a bummer they don't have cheese dogs, or chili dogs, or chili cheese dogs. Just regular hot dogs and fries. The food was... good. I think they should just expand their selection a little bit. Friendly and quick. Read more
