They were very fast and prepped my take out order in less than ten minutes. They were friendly and proactive all while servicing... their full dining room. My spicy vegetable noodles are delicious. Their broth is packaged separately to ensure you get maximumstock and the noodles didn't get soggy thanks to that kind detail. Their noodles have a great texture and their attention todetail on their plate presentation is exquisite. Thank you for an amazing dinner! Read more

I love this place ???? even though I need to drive 30 min to eat them. My spicy miso is creamy and tasty. My favorite is the... ramen noodle; the chef has a unique process for making them tender and cook. I would recommend eating the Tsukemen, that is theperfect dish too. The price is reasonable. thank Read more

One of the best ramen I've had. Definitely worth the drive. We got there early on Sunday we were able to be seated right away.... Go early since the place gets packed or be prepared to wait. The restaurant is small and so is the parking lot. Read more

We arrived at 8pm on a Saturday night and wrote our name on the list by the door. It?s a small place so the wait was a little... over an hour. We ordered the chicken karaage and pork bun as appetizers but it ended up coming out after the ramen. We orderedthe tsukemen and red miso. Both broth were delicious. The tsukemen was fatty which I enjoyed. My friend had the red miso and Imust admit that I like that flavor a little more than the tsukemen. I honestly felt bad for the chefs and the server. Theylooked so stressed out. For awhile, there was only 1 guy serving but he was fast and efficient. Read more

Definitely one of my top four Ramen places in Chicago. The ramen is very thick and hearty, the spicy red miso has a definite... kick, the chachu pork was so tender it gently fell apart, and the noodles grabbed the thick broth wonderfully. I drank everydrop! Read more

The shrimp was even perfect and they put a side of ginger for a palette clenser. Definitely notdisappointed, exactly what I was craving PLUS grubhuh had a 5$ off 17 order deal! I will be ordering again for sure. You caneven order extra egg or fish cake. YUM! get it spicy!!!!!! Read more

My wife and I stopped by during a chilly February day. We were craving some ramen to defrost a bit, and read about Chicago Ramen... as one of the best places to eat at. Normally, I like to stick within the city, but Chicago Ramen is worth the trip to thesuburbs. The place is located in a strip mall, and is rather small, seating in total about 20-30. This is not give off theswanky, hip vibe that a Wasabi or Ramen-san does, and expect more of a homey, down-to-earth, diner-esque environment. Afterbrowsing the menu, we chose the three different buns as appetizers (pork, chicken, and shrimp), and I had the spicy white misoas my main dish. All of the food was brought out at a decent speed, and we started to dig in. First were the buns, and whileall 3 were delicious, the chicken bun in particular stood out. When I took my first bite, you could see how moist the chickenwas inside, with it glistening against the sunlight. The sauce on it provided a nice, light sweetness to the bite, and thecrunch on the chicken combined with the softness of the bun sealed the deal. The shrimp bun also had similar qualities in thecrunchy tempura shrimp and soft bun, and had a sweet and sour sauce on it that gave a classic Asian flavor. As for the pork bun, while good, the BBQ sauce it was smothered in overwhelmed my palette and was very one-note; after a couple of bites, it becametoo much. Though, the cook on the pork was as good as the cook on the other proteins, and was not dry at all. Next came myramen. It is without a doubt one of my top 3 ramen bowls. The broth was spicy, warm, and full of balanced flavors, likesweetness and saltiness on top of the spice. The noodles were unctuous and rich, with the broth almost clinging to every noodle. The textures continued to provide excitement to each bite, with the tenderness of the pork contrasting the snap of the onions. There are condiments on the side of the table, tempting you to play with the formula, but personally, the ramen was Read more
