Sunday brunch was very subpar. We didn?t want to finish our dishes. The Bloody Mary was bland, the waffle was limp. The view here is neat, hours are accommodating, and wait staff is friendly. The menu is expensive for food that is just alright,... dinner service cadence is slow, & they aren?t flexible if you ask to modify a dish at all (ex: removing listed toppings from asalad). If you have the time, I?d skip this & find a place that doesn?t seem so entitled to the patronage. Read more

I lived in Des Moines for about 9 months and came here 3 or 4 times even though I had a goal of trying a new restaurant every... time I went out. That's how you know it was good. You've got a beautiful rooftop view of East Village, impeccable service, greatcocktails, and the apps are delicious!!! This place is located on the top floor of the AC Hotel Marriott in East Village, Des Moines. We went here for late night drinks.... It was a little crowded and attracted a trendy audience. It was easy to grab a spot at the bar after a short wait. Drinksservice was very fast and the bartenders were really helpful in crafting custom drinks for us.
