My wife and I walk in this eve on a Thursday night at 7. Person in charge tells me the kitchen is closed. My wife and I came in... specifically to get a bite. As we left we run into a friend directly outside that were heading in. She and her friend went in tograb a drink. A little bit later, I see that friend again a couple doors down. They tell me that the kitchen at Purveyor madethem some food after we left. Sorry Purveyor, you'll get zero recommendations from me. That was completely unprofessional andlame. Read more
My first meal in Des Moines, so perhaps I've been spoiled. This hot sandwich is amazing (the Baron). Not only is the pork... delicious but the bread is outstanding. Coupled with a good Sangiovese from the wine bar, this was a simple lunch to remember!And tonight apparently is paella night! Read more
