I really liked the ambience and decor. Our server was attentive and pleasant. The salad bar was great, my prime rib really hit... the spot, so good. I ordered medium rare, and I got medium rare. Also, the bread was yummy.. I'll go back, for sure. Read more
First time going and i must say the food was terrible except the salad bar and loaf of bread. I ordered a 12oz rib eye medium... well and i got an extra well done instead. I mean the grill marks on the steak looked amazing but my steak was dryer thanlaundry dry sheets. My partner ordered a prime rib medium rare and came out more rare than medium. I wanted to try this placebeing a native of Chicago (where food is just phenomenal anyways, especially steaks) but turned into a disappointment. We endedup getting To-Go boxes and never touched the food after. We left the boxes on the kitchen table. I'll just stick to my go to'sfor great steaks. This place was a lessoned learned. Read more
This is very great place for cocktails (8-9$) and steaks (28$ and up for 12 oz) Their salad bar is awesome you can go there... unlimited times. Just make sure you will leave some room for your meal lol My bill was under 50$ but I had a good time and agood quality food. Waitress came to check on me every now and then. Burger was on point. The fried chicken was super crispy and the garlic mashed potatoes were definitely garlicky. The onion ring... appetizer was hard to eat with a fork and also difficult to eat with your fingers but still tasty! Salad bar had so manyoptions! We will definitely be back! Read more
Excellent food, wide variety of options on the salad bar, reasonable prices during lunch which runs until 4 pm. I had 6 oz... prime rib which was delicious, but after the salad bar, there was plenty to take home. During the lunch special you get friesas your side, I was disappointed to not get a choice, but once you truly the fries, you won't be disappointed. They are crunchyon the outside, soft inside with the perfect amount of salt. Waitress was attentive without hovering. Very pleased. Read more

Had the best experience tonight. Had a little bit of a wait, and sat at the bar until our seat was ready. Ordered a top shelf... margarita and it was the best I've ever had! Then got seated and had Jeff as a waiter. Ask for him!!! He was awesome andprobably one of the best servers in Des Moines. Food was good, service was excellent. Can't ask for anything better!
