Came for dinner and attempted to put our name in. Was told earlier that only parties of 5+ could make a reservation. Hostess was... constantly leaving and then on the phone, couldn?t care less about customers trying to get seated. A couple came in and cut theline, they were obviously friends of the hostess, and were seated immediately ahead of several parties waiting to put their namein. When I asked a staff suggested the two person couple might had a reservation? Very strange. Would not go back due to thatexperience. Not sure why they would treat waiting customers that way. I dinned twice before I gave a solid review. Given covid, short staffing issues everywhere and tight supply in demand I thought... it was only fair. Both times my family and I were disappointed. The flavors of the food fall extremely short and the prices arevery high for small portions. My family is from Abruzzo Italy and normally we don't dine out and eat Italian but they claim tobe authentic Italian from the original North End Boston. Tonight we came to celebrate my nonnas birthday, the service was decentbut again the food quality falls short. Bland food, with American flare not Italian. I ordered the Chicken Sabatino and therewas so much lemon in my pasta it was almost not edible.The tiramisu tastes like cheesecake, one of the other desserts wasspumoni and it had the paper from the pan served in the bowl. Gross.There's just no love in the food here. Also, we spent $300and our server new we were there for an 86th birthday- they couldn't even comp the 86 year old birthday girls dessert? Sabatino's North is one of the best Italian restaurants in Southern NH. The quality and taste of the food is amazing. Always... great service and ambience. Parking is never a problem in downtown Derry and the outdoor seating is great for enjoying a musicalguest. Very affordable. Save room for dessert! Read more
I placed a catering order for 15 people on a Tuesday pm for a Thursday noon pick-up. I arrived to pick-up my order and I had a... wait an extra 20 minutes for the order to be done which wasn't a big deal because I didn't have far to go to get the order toit's destination. I had to ask for plates and silverware as nothing was prepped to go for a catering order. I was handed veryhot orders with kitchen hand towels so I could transport my food. The food should have been double wrapped so there was lesschance I would burn myself. I also got back to my office to realize that I also wasn't given any serving utensils. Luckily Ihad them but not everyone picking up an order would have had all the supplies on hand. I'm only writing this review as areminder to the restaurant that these should be part of each catering order. The food was AMAZING and I would be happy to orderfrom them again but I hope they understand the concerns of this review. Read more
