Don?t waste your money or time! The employees most certainly don?t want to be there. When I ordered a Hawaiian Pie (their menu... item) the cashier asked if that was a pizza. We ordered an Italian sausage sandwich which turned out to be the saddest thingI?ve ever seen. Our meatball sandwich had burnt bread and frozen meatballs and a frozen pizza from Dillions would have tastedbetter than the Hawaiian Pie. Read more
Wasn't expecting a buffet for supper, but was pleasantly surprised. Two people dining. Paid about what I was expecting to pay... for a pizza and got to sample a dozen different ones. Good experience. Thank you Tweek the hot table to keep the crustcrispy. Gambino's crust fresh out of the oven is wonderful. I grew up on the place in Valley Center before it shut down. Got there at 5:15 on a Friday. The pizza that was out was probably from lunch. They asked when you pay what kind of pizza do you... like. I said supreme my wife Canadian. People after us said taco pizza. I went back 4 times and never did they have what werequested. The taco pizza came out and the couple all but took all of it. Picked up pizza and cheese stick pizza for dinner tonight. Ordered online for a 5:00 pickup. Arrived ten minutes before pick up... time and my order was already waiting. When I got home(I'm probably five minutes away)the boxes were lukewarm at best and thepizza was room temperature. The cheese stick pizza was already cold and hard. Gambinos used to be our go to, but not aftertoday. There are too many choices available for me to take a chance on Gambinos carry out again. Very disappointed. Read more
The food was good although they didn't have taco sauce for the taco pizza. It was just after the lunch hour. They had one girl... cleaning tables and you could see other employees standing in the kitchen chatting. Read more
The food is generally on the higher side for pizza, however, they offer a dinner buffet for a reasonable price even if you don?t... eat a lot. I would love to see them add some pickle spears to their salad bar, but other than that, I highly recommend thebuffet. It?s only $9.99 per person and includes a fountain drink, the salad bar, all kinds of pizzas and appetizers such ascheesy bread, and even dessert pizza. My favorite part is the atmosphere. Just had the buffet, and it was great! Really surprising, I generally don't like buffets, but decided to give this place a try... and I'm glad I did! Reading the other reviews, I think they've really turned it around in the past few months! Pizza isn't toogreasy and I enjoyed it all except for one, and it might just be down to personal preference. The hamburger pizza with jalapenosjust left a little something to be desired. The super cheesy sausage pizza was my absolute favorite, regretted only getting onepiece before it ran out. We really love eating there, it's kinda become our go to on Saturday nights when we don't have any plans. The buffet is really... good and great salad bar ???? almost always full of fresh pizza ???? and dessert pizza ????. The only thing I would say coulduse improvement would be cleaning tables after people leave. We always have to wipe our seats in the booths before we sitdown. That's the only reason for a 4? instead of a five. Great eats! Read more
