4/25/2022 - update. I called and asked that the pizza not be too well done. I ordered a half pepperoni and it was amazing.... Pictures attached. Previous - Lately they have been making more ?burnt? pizza. It seems to be what the others are doing. Notsure why. Read more
The hunt for thin crust pizza brought me to Denville Casa D Pizza located on East Main Street where C.V.S. is and right next to... Caffe Delhi. Rather than ask this group for suggestions, I searched this page and found several restuarants that kept beingnamed as their go to spot in Denville for thin crust pizza. Mind you, there were other places outside of Denville that havebeen on my radar, but wanted something close to home and was convienent. Casa D Pizza has a wood burning stove and orderedpizza off the "Thin Crust Wood Burning Pizza" menu. I ordered a cheese pie (ordered the pie with light amount of cheese, so ifit seems skimpy, that is exactly how I ordered it) along with a Margherita (Crushed tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, parmigianareggiano, olive oil & fresh basil.) The pies come in 12 inch, or for $5 more, you can make it a large. For the cheese pie,ordered the large and for Margherita, stuck with the 12. For a Saturday night, the wait time at 600 was only about 30minutes which was not bad at all. To all those who have raved about the thin crush pizza, Thank You! I'm less than 5 minutesfrom here and by the time I dove into, the pizza was hot and tasty. No doubt the pizza sitting in the box fresh out of the ovenimpacts the pie, but it was still good. May very well have to try back here again when thr pies are served fresh out of theoven. My one regret was I failed to scroll down far enough to realize they also have thin crust square pizzas as well. Whenpreparing this review, found the Nona (Mozzarella & fresh plum tomatoes sauce) as well as the Brooklyn Style (Fresh mozzarella,plum tomato, garlic, olive oil & basil.) The folks at Casa D?Pizza go out of their way to make you feel like it?s your home away from home. This was one of our first... outings with our 2 year old since he?s been walking and running around, so we were prepared to order our food and immediatelytake it to go if things didn?t pan out, but the staff here really went out of their way to make us feel at ease and made it areally enjoyable experience. The food here, especially the brooklyn style pizza is absolutely amazing. Our little one who isusually a picky eater even gobbled up his entree. We will definitely be back! Read more
We got a plain 12? and a vodka thin square. They were excellent. The 12? was a little bit too thin for me. Hubby liked the... thickness. Thinness I guess. The vodka square was the perfect thickness and the cheese goes all the way to the edge. We?ll beback. Read more
