Reviews for Williams & Graham in Denver, CO
This not-so hidden gem of Denver transported me to the world of Sherlock Holmes as I stepped foot inside the bar/bookstore. It... has a vibe of a speak-easy kinda situation! The bar is hidden inside a door of books and it has an old world charm to it. Lovedthe mood and ambience! Great cocktails and was glad to see a good food menu with myriad options for a cocktail bar. Perfect fordates/intimate groups! Read more
The best bar experience I've ever had! It's a small place, so definitely make reservations and still be prepared for a wait, but... it's definitely worth it. It looks like an old speakeasy and the vibe is both festive and chill. The bartenders are EXCEPTIONALand their hand-crafted drinks are amazing. You just need to tell them the alcohol you like and any flavors you hate and BOOM,they make magic. 15/10, I'll be dreaming about this place now that I'm back home. Read more
Super cool, cute, cosy and charismatic speakeasy Bar. Cocktails are amazing and change often accordingly with the seasons. Food... selection goes really well with the drinks and great portion size. The staff is truly passionate of the work they do. Excellentcustomer service. Overall a fab experience. Servers are knowledgeable and highly recommend trusting their choice for creativecocktails! How fun! Didn't have a reservation (highly recommend), but showed up right at open and we're able to be seated shortly after.... The hostess was sweet and very helpful. Justin our bartender was very enjoyable. He had a full set of guests, but was still veryattentive, genuine, and made us feel important. The drinks were good, and visually pleasing. Food was good, but we were morevisiting for the cocktails and atmosphere. We have attended theme bars, but this one was beautifully executed and high quality.Venue, staff, beverages, and food all worth it. Thanks for a lovely date night away from the kiddos! Read more

A wonderful rendition of the Speakeasy experience. Williams and Graham is located in a basement with an entrance hidden behind a... bookshelf. It’s a small, crowded, candle lit bar that you usually need reservations for… but you can still get lucky on slownights - starting at the standing bar and migrating eventually to an open seating option. Aside from the fun vibe andprohibition aesthetic, the craft cocktails are top notch. You can choose from seasonal cocktails, classics, or just tell thebartender what you like and they will craft something uniquely for you! They also have full kitchen service if you’re wantinga food-included bar experience. This isn’t a cheap place though - be prepared for cocktails running about $17 each. Overall,if you’re looking for an out-of-the-ordinary experience or a place for a memorable date, I’d highly recommend Williams &Graham. Read more
I've been to a fair share of speakeasies in my time, but Williams and Graham certainly ranks near or at the top. This is... everything a speakeasy should be. It's hidden behind a book case (love) and has a cozy and intimate setting inside. I appreciatethey take reservations so you're not solely dependent on the luck of the draw. Our bartender was named Hadyn, and he wasincredible - kind, attentive, and super talented. Right up front, he told us about the menu drinks and then offered for us tojust tell him what we liked and he could come up with something. I'd never heard anyone do that before, so that's what I did. Itold him I liked floral drinks that aren't too sweet. He asked me if I liked gin, and he came back with the most delightfulcocktail. He did it a second time when I asked for another drink that was "like the last one but different" - the next one hadtequila but was just as spectacular. We got fries for our table, which were also amazing. Overall a wonderful experience. Thedrinks were pricey but absolutely worth it for the craftsmanship, service, and quality ingredients. Read more
A local resident of Denver told us about this bar. We were lucky to show up right at 5 where we got seats at the bar quickly... (which is apparently an anomaly). We enjoyed a few of the seasonal cocktails and tried the mac and cheese with added green chiliand bacon jam. If you can get in, it’s a neat experience! Loved the atmosphere, the staff was awesome, and the drinks were adelight. Read more
