I did not dibble in the menu. Except for this exciting Tarzan Punch because Banana Bourbon (seriously???) and it was everything... delicious. The bar scene is other travelers many staying in the surrounding hotels which led to great chats. The bar tenderswere super chill and answered more than enough questions I had. Read more
We came here in January 2022 with a large group and a reservation. They have some nice long tables in front when you walk in and... that is where they sat us. I got a photo of the cocktail menu, but didn't get one of the food menu (but, it's online). They havesome fun frontier style choices and the restaurant has some fun decor. It was at night and it's very dimly lit. I ordered:House Smoked BBQ Pulled Pork (GF) $14.50: Juicy saloon-smoked pork, WoS BBQ sauce, pickle relish, smoky coleslaw, on garlicbutter Texas toast. I liked my food, but it has coleslaw on the sandwich, which tends to make it soft and I wasn't a big fan ofthat. The group had mixed results on their selections, but we had a good time! Read more
This is one of my favorite places to go downtown and I?ve celebrated my birthday here for the past 2 years, it never... disappoints. The Sidewinder Green Chile Fries are AMAZING. The Cast Iron Chicken Pot Pie is my number one, and the PioneerMeatloaf is a close second. The staff is very friendly, welcoming and accommodating to larger parties. I would highly, highlyrecommend! The West of Surrender is a stylish Saloon like restaurant open from 11am -midnight. I went here some times and always loved the... great service and food! It?s sometimes full and you have to wait for some minutes for outside seats, but it?s worth it. Nicedecorations and history about their old Western Style. There are plenty of different beers, 36 draft beer taps. They have acocktail Happy Hour too and weekend brunch. Great for lunch and dinner!! I love the fried beans so much! Read more
Kinda touristy, but in a good way. Plenty of TV's around to watch sports, if that is your jam. The menu was interesting. I went... on a Sunday between 11a.m. and 2 p.m. when they features brunch. I tried the homemade stuffed donuts and the chicken friedelk. It wasn't fine dining, but it was fine. I would go back if I'm the mood. Read more
BEST EVER pot pie! Seriously! This place has an ambiance about it that reminds you of an old tavern. The staff is attentive and... fun. We will definitely be back next time we are in Denver!
