I really enjoy stopping at this local watering hole for happy hour. The atmosphere is fun. It?s a little dark inside, but they... do have a patio with TV?s, a room at front windows with a pool table. Other pool tables inside up the stairs. Staff is alwaysexcellent! The food is great, drinks are cold. I Enjoy their karaoke crowd on Wednesday nights! A nice greeting when we first stopped in on a Friday night after work. Unfortunately, it went down hill from there. Went to this place to watch football games, which they had a ton of TVs and it actually was fairly large! We got the cheese... curds w/ marinara & the BBQ Chicken Pizza and they both were delicious and you could tell they were made fresh! The drink menuwas very PUB-like w/ mainly beer & your common drinks, no blender or anything. They also have great Happy Hour specials! Theonly off thing I can say about our visit was that it seemed that only 2 people were serving on a Saturday night, which is def alot to be able to take care of everyone. Will come back! Read more
Great dive bar tucked away in a shopping center. I drove by past this block for a year and never noticed it till a friend... suggested it. Excellent happy hour specials! Yummy bar menu, I had the wings and were delicious. There'sa couple pool tables.Will definitely be returning! Read more
So Shorty's is the local dive bar everyone looks for, all of bars in LoDo, "LoHi", "RiNo", etc want to be, but Shorty's just is.... The wait staff are cool, the bartenders are the shiznit, and the chow is what you'd expect - fried or grilled and tasty. Butdon't be that douchebucket that rolls in and asks for an old fashioned in the middle of a bar rush. Just don't do it. Don't be"that guy" ( and "that guy" is a gender neutral descriptor in this case). Tip your server and bartender well, shoot your game ofpool, eat your wings, play your music on the jukebox, and tell Nico the bartender/manager I said "Whatsup". Read more
