Yum! What a nice surprise to find such interesting and delicious vegan fare nearby! We got the sweet and sour soup which was... fabulous-full of interesting mushrooms and tofu. Spicy and deeply flavorful. Next was the spicy green bean appetizer. Very niceand the beans were not are all overcooked. My husband and I got two different mains. He got the Kung Pao tofu and it wasamazing! The tofu was perfect, the sauce was lovely, the veggies were perfectly done, the peanuts were nicely roasted. I got theMunache curry, which was the only dish I wasn't crazy about. It was supposed to be spicy, but was a bit bland to my taste. Iwould have liked it better with less liquid and more curry flavor, but the potatoes and tofu were very good. The okra was a bitovercooked, but still nice. So I wouldn't get that one again, but it wasn't badly prepared, just not what I was hoping for. Wefinished off with the sesame balls and they are terrific!!! Toasty, sweet, chewy, cinnamony. Divine. Ordering was super easy, delivery was fast and simple. I love the idea of this place and will definitely try more of their dishes. And always get thesesame balls! Read more

This vegan African/Asian American fusion restaurant is amazing. Everything is so good, I'll be coming back for sure! Everything... was super fresh and flavors were amazing. Clearly it's run by people who care deeply about food! I agree w/the another reviewerthat the Szechuan wings were tough but I just cut them into smaller pieces and happily ate them. The seasoning, especially themouth numbing pepper, was so good! Give this place a try, you won't regret it! Read more

I ordered the szechuan wings and ginger sesame tofu (through Doordash) and goodness what a pleasure this meal was. Pic has been... posted from me as well. My only piece of constructive criticism would be that the wings were quite tough to chew. The flavor wasawesome though! I absolutely love seeing new vegan restaurants pop up and I'm always happy to support them. Read more

YUM! Ordered the spicy Szechuan green beans, the laziji nuggets, and the bunny chow. All were delicious! The nuggets were a... surprise: crispy on the outside, warm on the inside, with a tasty sauce. Loved the bunny chow with its bread bowl. I can see howit would be good in the bowl, but I enjoyed shredding the bread into the curry so it got all good and soaked. Delish! Read more

Tried the General Tso tofu, orange and orange tofu, and the schezuan wings. I love the concept of take oit and delivery and... supporting small businesses during these times and I appreciate the unique flavors and spices in the dishes. Two words ofcaution: The seitan wings were very chewy on the outside and to be honest the inside was rather raw and gummy. I make my ownsetain and have tried seitan at many restaurants in the 13 years I've been vegan so I know what setain should taste like. Thespice was interesting; made my tongue very tingly in a way I can't say I have ever experienced. Read more

I'm a big fan of Bang up to the Elephant and Beatrice & Woodsley. So, when they invited me to try out this new place, I was more... than happy to give it a try. And wow, I couldn?t be more excited to go back for more! I didn?t quite know what to expect of theidea of bringing together flavors from both asian and african cuisines, but everything is vegan, full of flavor and just reallyincredible. I?ve now tried out map tofu, the szechuan wings, the hot & sour soup, the south-african curry, and the sesame &sesame. Everything is really delicious and I'll definitely be ordering again soon to try more options! Read more

This is my new favorite spot for Chinese Food. The portions aren?t overwhelming, but easily enough for two meals. I was also... pleasantly surprised by the dishes that seem to draw from traditional African foods with just the right amount of variety. I?vehad Bunny Chow many times at a lovely place in my neighborhood in New York and this version is easily as good or better! Read more
