First time eating Bison, second time eating at Tower Tap & Grill. This burger has got to be one of the best if not the best... burger I’ve ever eaten… oh yeah the parmesan, garlic fries were legit too. OMGoodness!! I have NEVER had such an amazing cob salad before today and amazing customer service (for my to go order). Before... ordering I asked the restaurant host (Priscilla) if they serve ANY dish without black pepper or sesame seeds? This restaurant is attached to the hotel. Ultimately this restaurant has an overarching theme of “good”. The decor and the... vibe when you walk in is very nice. It has low lighting and a nice arrangement/floor plan layout. The menu selection is limitedand the food choices are predictable. The beer selection does not have a wide variety. The burgers we had were good, but notgreat. The beef is slightly seasoned and it really depends on the sauces to do the work. The flatbread was tasty and had a goodcollection of flavours. Our server “accidentally” added a gratuity of 20%, even though our group was only 4 people. Weprobably would’ve tipped less because the service lacked lustre. This place was a good stop in but not somewhere you wouldchoose to have a great dinner night or friend outing. Tower Tap has the potential to be great, but they just need to train staffon their charisma and up the flavour profiles on some of the dishes. Read more
If you’re looking for a 5-star vibe with affordable 2-star food, search no further. Upon entering Tower, you’re met with low... lighting, and an almost upscale sports bar vibe, friendly (but spread thin) staff, and gorgeous decor. The tap selection islacking — only about 11 selections, which feels low for a restaurant advertising “Tap” in its name. When the food arrives,so does the disappointment. Although I wanted to love my burger for its simple ingredients, it was extremely lacking in flavor.Tower has the potential, but seems to fall short on what the atmosphere promises. Read more
The food was good and very quick, the atmosphere was very chill both for family events, couples or just want to grab something... at the bar. My kids and I were pleasantly surprised by this place. I was skeptical due to their low rating of 3.7 stars, but their food... turned out being delicious. It was convenient since we stayed at the holiday day inn express across the street and we couldeasily walk there just walking through a parking lot. We ended up ordering what other reviewers said were good which were thebison burger, street tacos, and brownie a la mode. I would ask for extra sauce next time on the bison burger, but even a welldone burger was juicy & flavorful. The street tacos was ordered by my 11 year old daughter who can’t handle spicy. If youcan’t handle the spice, ask for the red onions and salsa on the side. My daughter however kept eating it while drinking watersaying it was too good to stop eating it even though it was somewhat spicy. If your not a fan of pork carnitas, this dish is notfor you. My daughter always gets pork carnitas from chipotle and she said the street tacos were better. I took a bite (I lovespicy food), and I have to admit, it was a tad bit spicy but tolerable (was probably the red onions or salsa). And even thoughyou are sooo full, you won’t be able to leave a single bite left of the brownie a la mode. My son said he was full anddidn’t want it, but once he tried a bite, he finished it off. I am not a fan of brownies, but this was definitely yummy. Bothmy children said they would come back. Don’t over look this place because of their rating. We loved what we ordered. Read more
Great place for drinks and a quick bit. A little on the pricier side and a limited menu, but it was good food. Our waitress was... super fun and checked on us often. Not too busy for the day after Independence Day so it was an easy dinner before heading tothe airport. Read more
Be careful eating here. I used to work here. But after coming into work one morning and the cooler had went down the night... before. All food sat in 65 degree temps for well over 24 hours. When I told the "Chef" that we had to throw all the food out.Per food code and law. He refused to do and served the public expired food. After this I one I quit. There is plenty more butthat one took the cake. And yes "chef" I have pictures to prove it. The health board will love them. Read more
