There were mostly good things about this place. The dog park area was cool, the food was decent and came out fast. The service... was good, at first. Our server was helpful and nice, but then she disappeared. Then we noticed a different server waiting on theother tables around us, but never came to our table. We finally went looking for our server to pay our check and the staffinside said, "Oh, she left about an hour ago." Basically got ghosted by our server. Saved us from leaving a tip I guess! ???? This place is a dog lovers dream! We celebrated my pups second birthday here and will be back for her third! The owners minded... their pooches well and our parties pups had a blast. They staff was happy to provide water bowls and a plain burger patty as a?cake? for our pups to split (a rare treat!). Service can be a bit slow and towards the dinner rush (around 7pm) it can get alittle chaotic, but that is not surprising given the setting! We got there early (around 5pm) and the place was nearly empty forthe first half of our stay. The food was decent, but the experience is the real draw! We got burgers and they came hot andcheesy. The drinks were cool and a perfect compliment to the meal. Note: There is not a designated area for small dogs, so ifyour little one is shy around larger dogs, be prepared to keep them on the table or a chair! Parking is available, but fills upquickly! Watering Bowl hosted our Puppy Olympics event w/ Denver Dog Meet Up... and it was a smashing success! We could not have been... happier! The dogs were loving it, ice pools and total freedom... 4 dogs were adopted that day from Life is Better Rescue & thegames w Emily from Through The Leash were hilarious! The sections really helped all everyone be super comfortable :) The hoomansfelt so taken care of, drinks and food were delicious and we all had a blast! I LOVE that this place had an outdoor fenced in area, for our puppies! They had water bowls, dog toys and a menu for them as... well! Excellent drinks and the mozzarella sticks were rather impressive! Read more
Awesome place for dog lovers! Also known as W.B Grill and TapHouse, so it?s possible to miss because the sign doesn?t say The... Watering Bowl. There is overflow parking. What a great place to sit and dog watch while enjoying drinks and great food. Allbreeds are welcomed as long as they?re well mannered. No leashes required upstairs in the dog area. Food and drinks are orderedinside as there is no table service. There was a Legos pop up inside with all different types of legos everywhere. I wouldhighly recommend! Read more
The Watering Bowl is a good neighborhood bar. I visited when they had an event - Lego Brick Bar. They transformed the place... with lego displays made by customers. There is a lego making competing every hour during the event and there are a number ofparticipants. The drinks are okay for the price. Food is so-so but worth the price. Just be mindful of the time as the kitchencloses early and the bar tends to forget about it. Service is great and as any neighborhood bar the bartenders are friendly andwarm. One of the bartenders gave us free pickle shots when our food came in late. Read more
What a great concept! Order drinks on leash off side and food. When your food is ready you move to the leash on side. Lots of... very large dogs. Tacos were yum. Great selection of ciders Read more
If you love your dog, or just dogs in general, this is a great place to kick back and enjoy an adult beverage. Staff was very... welcoming. Didn't have to wait between drinks and the company was enjoyable. I will most definitely be a frequent flier here.Thanks for a wonderful experience. Read more
